I could go on and on about how wonderful my wife and I had at Sun Sook homestay. But I will get to the point. The owners, hosts, kevin and panda, are fantastic. Kevin is from New Zealand and his wife Panda is Thai. They are happy to chat, share information about the local area or talk photography with their guests. Of course, if you prefer solitude, they will oblige you. Food panda would occasionally disappear into the kitchen and return to serve delicious and authentic Thai food. I was sure she had an army of help, but it was only her. She forced us to eat lunch, a multicourse dinner, and a delicious breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared and superb! It is difficult to accurately describe how amazing this location is on the property. You can tell it was designed to serve a purpose. Offer a peaceful retreat in the Thai countryside. This is like visiting a friend's lovely home. It is comfortable, clean, friendly, and accommodating. Highly suggested! Sun Sook Homestay is a bit of a drive from Chiang Mai, but is on the main road to doi inthanon, the highest mountain in all of Thailand. It takes some time to reach your destination, but once there.. You will be rewarded several times. Bonus kevin and panda are both avid professional photographers. If you are looking for something interesting

The dinner at Sun Sook Bed Breakfast was a fantastic escape from our trip to Chiang Mai. Kevin and his wife recently built this lovely homestay, which is tucked away along a winding road that winds between rice fields and wild boar. The rooms are contemporary, air conditioned, comfortable, and clean, so dont be concerned about having all your meals here. Panda is a skilled chef, and every meal here was excellent, wellprepared, wellseasoned, and wellcooked. The cuisine was unquestionably superior to many of the restaurants weve visited. Kevin took us on a trip to a few scenic locations for photography, which made our stay even more pleasurable. We wish we had remained here longer.

We went here by accident, and what a fantastic surprise. They appear to haven't been open for a long time, but they have some improvements to improve. We originally intended to ascend to the top of doi inthanon, but it started to rain, so we made changes and started looking for another place to stay. We didn't have much to drive because they are so close to the national park's entrance. The proprietors were really welcoming and handled our last-minute arrangements without a hitch. Our room was really fantastic and roomy. We were extremely pleased with the amazing shower and comfy bed. The breakfast menu was excellent and plentiful. Looking forward to returning one day.
