We were very happy with the Tara.The best value in Thailand so far.The rooms were spacious.To be crtical some of the pillow cases were very discoloured and old.The pad thai for thirty bahts was excellent.Within easy reach of the station and river kwai.

A very good clean guesthouse.The food in the restaurant underneath the rooms has exceptionally cheap meals of excellent quality.Pad thai at 35 bahts.Within short distance of the train station and a good walk to the River Kwai.

A truly great hotel, particularly at this price point! Nice garden, good restaurant and helpful staff (although some persons seemed a little annoyed by the tourists). The room was spaceous, clean and comfortable. I even had a private balcony.

Good location. Really good value for money. Room facilities excellent. No charge to use small swimming pool next door. Only issue was steep and narrow concrete staircases between floors.

This is a small run guest house. It was very comfortable and you had use of the pool at the back which belongs to the other guest house (noble) which was nice to cool of in. Also you get a lovely view of the river. To walk to the river Kwai bridge is around 20 mins but is very hot so may be best getting a local motorbike taxi. We also rented a local taxi for the day upto hellfire pass along with other stops and dropped us of at the train station at Nom Tok to get the train back to river Kwai bridge where the taxi waited for us and took us back to the hotel. This costs 1400 baht for the day. Be warned it takes nearly two hours on the train back but worth it as the views were good.

El hotel es muy recomendable. La habitacion estaba realmente bien con cama muy cómoda. Situado en plena calle de mochileros y también se pueden alquilar bicis al lado del hotel. 100% recomendable

Ce n'est pas un hôtel "de luxe" mais tout l'essentiel est réuni pour un séjour agréable à un prix très abordable. Bonne localisation, on peut faire beaucoup de choses à pied, et le restaurant est à la hauteur.
