Overall, i would stay again! This little guesthouse is ideal for a peaceful getaway in bangkok. The staff here are extremely friendly and very helpful with any issues or questions. With some small tables where you can sit, relax, and have booze (and its also very cheap here too! ), the front area is beautiful, with sats, relaxing, beer, etc. It is incredibly inexpensive here as well as allowing guests to meet other travelers. There isnt much public transportation around, so youll need to use taxis or tuktus because there aren't many public transport nearby, but this is part of the charm of this place, making it more tranquil. Fair enough, taxiis and cabs are simple to find!.4,8/52 Jan 2024

The service provided was excellent. However, the location is on a budget, so you should be prepared for high expectations. The staff members at the establishment are exceptionally friendly. For those currently visiting bangkok, i recommend downloading the Bolt app. Its like the grab app in thailand. Be comfortable booking motorcycle rides if you want to get around quickly. Ive been going to thailand on and off for over a decade, and this is my favorite spot. The neighborhood is wonderful and secure, you wont be accosted by tuktu drivers or people selling suits every time you go outside or to the 7-11 across the street. Khoa san road is within walking distance, where you can see many other shops along the way, as well as dozens of affordable, reasonably priced rooms to choose from. To assist you with anything you need or want to travel, the staff will go above and beyond. They even assisted me in locating my lost phone on my iPad and organizing its return. I adore these guys, so whenever i arrive in Bangkok, ive literally flew from bkk airport directly to tacee guesthouse.4,8/510 Feb 2023

This place was stunning! It had a very tastefully done appearance, it felt like taiwan in constructing! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and the location was excellent. There are numerous dining options close by, as well as savoring countless 711 outlets across the street. The only drawback for me, which is notably significant, is the loudness. You will undoubtedly hear other noisy guests talking in their room while they are in your room. Because of the mesh airvents above the door, the walls are extremely thin, allowing all the sound to enter. Bring earbuds! We had enough cool air in our fan room because we had one.4,6/57 Agt 2024

We had a great stay at tavee. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, making our stay so much more enjoyable. Coffee and breakfast are also served there, which we really enjoyed in the peaceful little garden area. We will definitely be back! Thank you.4,6/516 Jul 2024

I adored this location. After spending 16 hours traveling and not sleeping the night before, i was ready for a restful nights sleep, and luckily ive got it. The staff was excellent, the air conditioning was fantastic, but despite my early morning rise and early boat ride just after ten, there was hardly any wait for the loo! I requested supper sheet instead because the top was more like the material of tinkering with the bedding being under the bed and more closely resembled rugs than they had provided. Since the restrooms are downstairs, you might have trouble getting if you have naive bladders because he was upstairs at the end of the hallway. Although the stairs are quite steep, which didnt worry me, it wouldnt be ideal for people with unstable joints.4,6/514 Jul 2024

The location wasnt the best for us. It was a bit difficult to get cabs off the street and i had to walk incredibly long distances to reach places. The room itself was very clean and the bathroom was always spotless. Shower facilities were great. Reception staff are very helpful.4,6/56 Nov 2023

What a peaceful, peaceful and all around enjoyable place to spend ten days! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and serve perfectly as slumber in midst of what can otherwise be an overwhelming, busy city. Location is good, with several bus stops just stepping away, most of which can take you around the city on foot. I didnt try the food, but they have stocked utensils with water, beer, soft drinks, etc. Thank you for having us at the guesthouse and we hope to return!.4,6/513 Okt 2023

The guesthouse is peaceful and conveniently located on an alley. Although the location is a little out of the way, the street to which the guest house is connected is excellent, its close to savoring beaches and not too far from the river ferry. The shared bathroom was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. However, one drawback is that the walls are tinier, making it difficult to hear the neighbors and hallways.4,6/58 Sep 2023

Ive been visiting this guest house frequently for the past 12 years. It truly became my second home in bangkok, and i cant imagine going anywhere else! The rooms are clean, comfortable, suitable for different budgets (with private or shared bathrooms, with fans or air conditioning). There is a super atmosphere, the family is professional and very helpful (giving information, organizing your bookings if necessary etc. ). The breakfast is delicious, especially the club sandwich. And the guests are from all nations and all ages, so you can always meet interesting people here! Very well located, as it is in incredibly quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. I had a great time at tavee guesthouse. The hotel and its staff are very charming. My room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. As solitary woman traveler, i felt safe and secure. Ive been here for 19 years. Its never going to be my place of peace. I almost dont want to review this little gem. Im sure id rather have it all to myself. For the past 10 years, ive been staying here at least once a year, and im sure will keep me coming back for longer. The guesthouse, the cozy and clean rooms, as well as the friendly and smiling staff, are all noteworthy features of this establishment. When residing here, you truly feel like relocating. Students are having lunch at one of the many street food options, people and deliveries coming and going from the nearby market, monks from local temples, or people using the handy ferry from Tewet pier. All of that activity is in complete opposition as you make your way down tiny soi 14, which leads to the tranquility of tavee. Edited since opulence has never failed to impress.4,4/513 Agt 2023
