After a terrible experience staying at another neighbor who claimed to be a resort, I was fortunate enough to get a room on Sunday. Apparently quite popular and always full on weekends, so I was lucky enough to get a room on Sunday after having a terrible experience staying at another resort as well. Generally, the hotel is quite pleasant for short stays, due to it's location next to the river, which is overwhelmingly busy at night and only on weekends. When I left the place on Monday morning, most of the stores were closed. Amphora is also becoming a tourist trap, even though it is worth a departure from Bangkok. And this resort is one good place to stay.

The market is just outside the resort so shopping is less than a minute walk away.. One of the staff was nice enough to explain to us how the mackerel porridge which was served for breakfast should be eaten even though she was holding a pair of crutches. That's dedication.

All those who want to slow down and get more out of their work come here. Amphora is a perfect place to relax on a weekend. I also will come back to this place again. I went there twice during the partial travel restrictions due to the pandemic in November 2020 and again in April 2021. The condition of the room is basic but very clean. The breakfast is very tasty and traditional amphora cuisine. The location is in the heart of everything, including the market.

The location of this place is in the middle of the action. The front of this hotel faces the canal, so you can see all of the action. Amphora has a booming atmosphere on all weekends. I would strongly recommend coming on Saturday midday or lunchtime if you dont mind the throngs. Unless it's a long weekend, Monday morning is like a ghost town. Boat trips are highly advised. A popular waterski tour that leaves at dusk is the Firefly Boat Tour. The hotel room is clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The environment here is good, and the staff is really helpful. Breakfast was very varied, you can also try the local food here. Afterward, you can walk to the Amphora floating market.
