Wonderful boutique hotel with a beautiful setting and great hospitality. The games room had dozens of board games and staff on hand on certain days to teach us how to play them. Small gym in comparison to other hotels but functional, the only comment i had was that there is only one treadmill. A small pool but very comfortable with day beds to lie and laze in. Restaurant offers simple breakfast, with an egg station and noodle station. For us, sunset restaurant, where we ordered the Mookata in advance, and wonderful dining experience in an outdoor setting would be the highlight. If not for the glitch we experienced on our last day, we would have given it five stars. My wife accidentally colored the hand towel which the hotel manager, hanida, insists on charging us $200 baht. Its not about the price, but rather about how she handles the situation and how her husband handled it. All goodwill simply vanished at that moment.

I just walked in, and after spending a few hours here, i can assure you its going to be fantastic. A very serene, quiet, beautiful place to relax. There are plenty of trees here to cool off even with the current heat in bangkok. The rooms are dated, but it is tucked away in saggy garden villas with pools right in front of them. No complaints at all. However, this weekend at khao yai is quite quiet because most people will be traveling during songkran in two weeks. So if you want to travel, such rnr is ideal. Room furniture is somewhat unstable.

I stayed in a villa. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was cosy and small. Staff and bosses were friendly. Nice atmosphere. 24hour gym. Cons the bathtub spray didnt seem to work. Shower temperature is difficult to control. Breakfast buffet spread can be improved but filling enough. Otherwise, looks like typical midhigher accommodation.
