Connected with music, it helped me to reconnected with it and with the people. I enjoyed every moment here with the staff and the client. You can express yourself trough arts freely and the hostel shows respect for animals; it is vegan. Don't judge a book by his cover, the hostel may look weird and trash with his grafity and his 100baht fee, but it is really a lot more than what i expected.

Ich persönlich habe es im Overstay geliebt! Mir gefiel die Gestaltung ded Raumes und des Miteinanders total. Man kommt sehr leicht mit den Mitarbeitern und ihren Freunden unten in der Bar in Kontakt. Natürlich auch mit den anderen Bewohnern. In der Bar gibt es recht günstige Getränke (100bht / Cocktail/ Bier) und falls ihr da seid solltet ihr auf jeden Fall auch was essen, wirklich toll. Außerdem gibt es fast immer jemanden der Musik macht oder eine Wand anmalt. Warum Typsache? Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach (Einzelzimmer: Futon+Ventilator) und manche Türen/ Schlösser schließen nicht richtig. Ich würde auf jeden Fall noch mal kommen.

I only had 2 nights at The Overstay, but I wish it could have been longer. The staff were super friendly and treated you like family. The place itself was amazing, absolutely covered in art and murals. Everywhere you looked there was something new to take in. It's not fancy in any sense but is down to earth and relaxing. It's not for everyone, but if you want to share a few nights in a great atmosphere with some amazing people I highly recommend it. :) Can't wait to come back next time I'm in Bangkok!
