The service here was so good, especially for the front desk staff, who made me a phone call, and also arranged the dinner for us, the phone with the driver. Besides that, the service from the front desk manager was so friendly and helpful. Besides that, the place was so cozy and the condition was very comfortable. The breakfast was so affordable.

My time at the hotel was wonderful, thanks to the very attentive front desk staff. With all conveniences, the rooms were spotless and modern. The major attractions are just a short tram ride from the hotel. However, I believe I should deduct a star as the driver tries to charge me almost three times the meter-cost when taking a cab that the hotel has set up to take me to the airport. Although the hotel did advise it to raise a complaint, I never was notified that it has been done. I expected a hotel of this caliber to employ a much better taxi company for its clients than crooks, and it ruined the city in the end.

My first visit to Istanbul was this one, so I chose the hotel. It's in a strategic location, it's a city view hotel, but it's very clean and modern, and one of the workers told us it once was a hospital. I booked a superior room bigger than the standard one, but when we arrived I found the room was very small, the term superior refers to a very small corner next to the door and the room was on the second floor, so there wasn't enough light to enter. I returned to try to alter the room, which they eventually accepted after a while, and I was really happy about this. Because the new room was so different, more organized, and larger, I believe they upgraded us to a deluxe room. There was no negative stuff other than the tram noise, which was only in front of the hotel door, but it doesn't bother us at all because it's the Istanbul vibe in the room, especially when he met at the reception. He also helped us greatly. I recommend booking a deluxe room on a higher floor, it's well deserved to enjoy your time at 10 karaoke, until we meet again.

The hotel itself is quite nice and in a convenient location. It is not a 5 star hotel but probably a solid 4 star. There are some deficiencies in comparison to other 5-star options, and the breakfast options are limited. If you do book here, make sure to request a room at the back of the hotel as the streettram noise at the front of the hotel is quite loud all night. Now on to the reason for the 2 star review. When we checked out, we asked the front office staff to call a large taxi to drive us to the airport we had snowboard bags which would not fit in a standard taxi. They said they called the taxi but required us to pay 750 TL upfront, nearly ex the cost of a large taxi from the airport to the hotel. Staff said they organized an airport transfer, which we rejected and asked for a metered taxi arranged. They said they couldn't do that, they could only call two standard yellow taxis, which we also rejected. After 40 minutes of the front desk staff telling us the only service they could arrange is a transfer service, we accepted as we were running late to check in. When our transfer service arrived, it was a standard Mercedes vito metered taxi. The same taxi they said they couldn't arrange and then charged us 750 tl. The room wasn't good and didn't meet my expectations, they insist on placing us in a room with a back side view overlooking the surrounded buildings. I know they have better rooms than I have stayed in before, I know that it's the type of the hotel city view hotel, but I know they have better rooms with a better amount of daylight and are not completely dark. I tried to explain to them that I couldn't stay in this room and that I could wait until the next night, but all I got was the best you could get! Very disappointing expression from the front desk employee. After all, I knew they were having a group and were so happy to serve them and ignore the other individual customers, and add to that, the only light in the room broke and we had to stay in the dark all night until the next morning they come and fix it, and they still said this is the best room you can get! I'm sorry, I won't accept that I paid for a 5 star hotel to feel comfortable during my stay in Istanbul. Thank goodness I was able to cancel my rest of my stay with them and moved to a 4 star hotel with the best service and helpful staff. I won't stay at this hotel again.
