Staff was extremely helpful.Rooms were very clean. Deskhelp was very responsive. Breakfast was full of healthy options.They guided us for tours and local shopping.

The Carina Gold Hotel is a treasure; what a wonderful experience we had while staying there for five nights. Excellent is an understatement; superb, exceptional, beyond expectation is a better description. Everything was wonderful; the upgrade to a deluxe room, the breakfast buffet with lots of variety, the hotel itself, so new and modern, located nicely in the heart of Istanbul, within walking distance to all the most important and interesting places. But the best is still to come: what we value above anything else are the persons working in the hotel. Of course, all the staff at the Carina Gold Hotel are friendly, welcoming and helpful. However, three gentlemen we had the most contact with, we even know by their names. Enes, who checked us in, and Halil, also working at the Reception, who explained to us the best way to get around in this beautiful city. One person at the Carina Gold Hotel definitely deserves a gold medal, so to speak, and this gentleman is Mr. Salih Nasan, the Front Office Manager. Salih for sure is the best of the best; highly intelligent, knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, and, naturally, very friendly and helpful. For everything Salih has done for us we are grateful, all his help is very much appreciated. For anyone interested in travelling to Istanbul, we would like to recommend to book a room at the Carina Gold Hotel; and we too, no doubt about that, will return to this lovely place, to once again get treated so well.
