This is actually my second review because I ended up staying at Henna Hotel twice during the same trip to Istanbul, and I felt they deserved another mention. I first discovered Henna Hotel in November 2021 and loved it so much that I returned in 2023 for my honeymoon. Most recently, in May 2026, I came back with my wife and our one-year-old son. Once again, the experience was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, with one of the most breathtaking breakfast terraces in Istanbul and incredible views of the Bosphorus. The location is perfect for exploring Sultanahmet, but what truly makes this place special is the people. During this trip, we traveled to the Turkish coast for part of our vacation and wanted to travel light. The team at Henna Hotel kindly stored all of our luggage for us while we were away and kept everything completely safe until our return. That level of trust, care, and hospitality meant a lot to us. A special thank you to the manager, who was always attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure our family had a wonderful stay. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. After multiple stays over the years, I can confidently say that Henna Hotel remains my favorite hotel in the Sultanahmet area. It feels less like a hotel and more like coming back to friends every time we visit Istanbul. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Henna Hotel three times, and each visit has been memorable in its own way. My first stay was in November 2021, and I was immediately impressed by the hotel’s elegance, incredible location, and outstanding hospitality. It left such a lasting impression that I returned in 2023 for my honeymoon. Most recently, in May 2026, I came back with my wife and our one-year-old son, and once again Henna Hotel exceeded all expectations. The property itself is beautiful, and the breakfast terrace feels like something out of a dream, offering breathtaking views of the Bosphorus that never get old. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. After several stays, I’ve had the chance to meet much of the team, and every single staff member has been warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality made us feel at home and turned every visit into a special experience. Having stayed here multiple times over the years, I can confidently say that Henna Hotel is, in my opinion, the best hotel in the Sultanahmet area. If you’re looking for a beautiful hotel, an unbeatable location, stunning views, and exceptional service, this is the place to stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

HENNA hotel is outstanding but lios every hotel ita the staff that make all the difference. Ahmed, Emma and all the staff have always a smile and Will ask all day how can they help. The position of the hotel is also perfect in terms of the tourists must sees. The biggest compliment we can give is to say we will return 100%

Great location just steps to all the big sights. Excellent views from the rooftop patio. Rooms are small, but nice and clean. Staff was amazing. Every single team member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel manager went out of her way to check in with us throughout our stay and at our departure. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

It’s a really nice hotel right in the heart of Sultanahmet, minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, and the Bosphorus. The rooms are much smaller than they look in the photos, so go in with realistic expectations. But honestly, that’s fine because you didn’t come to Istanbul to sit in your room anyway. Get out and soak in the vibe of the city: walk the streets, try the food, and meet the locals. The hotel staff are genuinely warm and friendly, treating guests like family. They’ll even lend you their personal umbrellas when the hotel’s stock runs out. The breakfast is excellent. You can also order specialty coffee any time of the day. They consistently go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and having a good time. Don’t miss the roof terrace! It has a beautiful view of the strait and the surrounding architecture. It’s wonderfully peaceful, especially in the evenings. Just sit up there with a Turkish tea and watch the city come alive. That’s the real Istanbul experience ❤️

Can’t say enough good things about Henna Hotel!! It is in a perfect location, had a wonderful rooftop bar with a fabulous view of Blue Mosque & Sofia Hogia, delicious breakfast, and super clean, comfortable rooms. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable & drama free. It even has a cute coffee bar in the lobby. 5+ stars all the way!

Henna hotel is wonderful, well Located in Istanbul sultanameth Area, walking distance of Everything, Very charming Place, the front desk is always asking how to help you or guide you, the Breakfast is 5 Star ( included) delicious and generous, the room was very clean and cozy, with all the amenities you’ll need, I traveled with my wife and the hotel surpassed all my expectations and finally it has a beautiful terrace with magnificent views of the city, mosques and Bosphorus

As soon as we arrived, we wer giving a cup of drink. The room is clean and the roof of the building has a beautiful view of harbor and the Blue Mosque. Breakfast is very fresh and tasty. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the airport bus by walking.
