When people pay for midrange hotels and anticipate red carpet treatment, it really confuses me. Perhaps there is a problem living their lives disillusioned. I cannot figure out why anyone would book anywhere and look for negative things. If youre someone who thinks, gosh, I was in a room and heard people talking in the hall, the hotel was terrible, I was in the shower and the water went cold for a second. Please do not stay in hotels like the Diamond, or better yet, please do not travel to Turkey. Yes, the diamond wasnt perfect, but the beds were really comfortable, the breakfast was not the best but very eatable, but most importantly, the staff was really helpful and guess what they had good sense of humor. We stayed for three days in february, and the hotel played a part in a fantastic experience exploring Istanbul. So let the hated hate, but take it from a welltravelled man, this hotel is worth the price you will pay.

The hotel is situated directly behind the Olivia Outlet Center, which has a wide range of bargain shopping. This can be it's greatest benefit. It takes 510 minutes to walk to the kazlicesme metro station, which can transport you around the old town. You can also take a minibus from Olivia to the Zeytinburnu metro station, which takes quite a while to arrive because the minibus appears to be traveling around the whole neighborhood before stopping at the final station. The rooms were clean, in terms of cleanliness. I do not recommend staying at the last floor, as the noise from moving chairs in the restaurant will annoy you. We complained about the noise, and we were given another room, which was also not soundproof. It was challenging to communicate with the receptionist's English proficiency. Additionally, the rooms' walls were very thin, and you could hear the sounds of your neighbors. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Our room's wifi kept disconnecting, and we had to reconnect to three different accounts each time. Given that you couldn't ask for any service because of your poor English, the overall service was not like a four! In Istanbul, I believe that you can find better hotels with better proximity and service for the same price.

As agreed, the room was expected to have a sea view, but it wasn't! The receptionist was arrogant and said call you quickly if that's a problem and he didn't apologize. No elevator required to carry luggage up stairs. The bathroom is too tiny. My kids' room had its own electrical outlets, but old metal heating system pipes sticking out of the walls in the bathroom were sticking out of the wall, which was hazardous. For children. Breakfast was adequate, the beach was lovely. It would have been better with some maintenance and the reception staff needs a lot of customer service training. To be honest, a few were unsatisfactory, but the rest were excellent.

The service was also excellent, even the staff was very helpful and nice, and everything was wonderful. So, I recommend this hotel to everyone. I had the best vacation ever.
