It was very nice experience in Lotus garden! I planned to stay in Izmir just for a night at fitst but I extended 4 nights. Rooms are clean, kitchen and bathrooms are well organized and cleaned. They offers laundry service with little fee. I especially loved garden and little cat Alex!! Managers were friendly and kind to me. Highly recommended accommodation!! 🇰🇷 이즈미르 자체가 크게 볼 건 없어서 하루나 이틀만에 뜨려고 했는데 숙소가 좋아서 오래 머물렀네요. 매니저들도 굉장히 친절하고 시설도 잘 되어있어요. 하루 열심히 돌아다니고 가든에서 여러 친구들이랑 맥주 따고 수다 떨면 최고!!

Great property with quirky design, big open spaces, high cielings, cosy common room with view into the garden with chickens and cats. Well equipped kitchen with spices, tea and coffee, breakfast available for 15tl. Really liked the extra touches the gave the place, loads of books, cute designs on the walls, cute tea cups and tea in the room, indoor slippers provided. Strong hot showers, clean bathroom. Good location near Basmane train station and a 1minute walk from the bus stop for the city bus to the main bus station. Good atmosphere too.

Non c'è molto da dire, appena si entra l'accoglienza è sincera, gli ambienti comuni sono piacevoli e colmi di persone provenienti da ogni dove, e le zone (dormitori, cucina, salotto, giardino) sono ordinate e pulite.

The exterior of the hostel is colorful and caught my eye. It looked like a place where you could meet people who traveled. The interior was attractive and colorful with flags, posters and signs in different languages. A nice restaurant bar at the back with wooden tables lovely atmosphere. Beer and food tasty and attractive presentation. Friendly staff.

The employees here are really kind and professional. They provide food and beer, and they have a nice restaurant here with tables. The interior was quite attractive and colourful. The decoration was in many languages.

Bangunan hotelnya besar, lokasinya strategis, dekat dengan restoran murah dan pertokoan, harga sangat terjangkau, kamarnya besar banyak jendela dengan dekorasi yang bagus, tersedia sarapan dan bisa bertemu dengan manusia lain.

I like the garden and overall hostel vibe. The staff was also very helpful with planning day trips and with overall information. The beds were ok to sleep although there was a lot of light coming from the street. Maybe bigger curtains could help. The neighborhood felt a bit intense, yet merchants in the nearby shops were friendly and I felt safe overall.

Es gab ein schöne Garten mit sehr netten Staffs. Es kann bei Frühstück noch ein bisschen von Qualität her verbessern z.B. als Brot gab es nur toast und von nicht gute Qualität. Aber nicht zu wichtig. Allgemein gebe ich von 9/10 als Hostel

바스마네 역 근처 시장골목 사이에 있는 호스텔입니다. 6인 도미토리를 썼는데 2-3명밖에 없어서 편했고 스태프 역시 친절했습니다. 호스텔에 들어올때마다 벨을 눌러 스태프가 문을 열어줘야 들어올 수 있었다는 것이 불편했습니다. 바스마네 역에서 도보 2-3분 거리여서 셀축을 기차로 오가는데 편리했습니다.

🚨 BEDBUG ALERT 🚨 mid January 2024 🚨 The purpose of this review is to alert other travelers and does not mean the hostel isn’t a decent place. I felt itchy in the middle of my first night and woke up with 3 ordinary bites which I thought were just from mosquitos. The second evening, these bites became swollen, red, painful, itch, so I started being suspicious. I checked the bedsheet but the dim room and patterned sheet made it difficult. After the second night, more bites showed up! I am traumatized by my experience with bedbugs years ago and know exactly how they show up on me (in the most horrible way) These are for sure bedbug bites. I packed up as soon as I got back to the hostel, and talked to the staff whom was friendly and helpful. Besides the bedbugs situation, the hostel is what you pay for - good vibe, nice staffs, and the internet is one of the stablest I have had in throughout my stay Turkey (small issue with video conference calls, but no problem sending/downloading files). The facilities is alright - it has functional kitchen, bathroom, and showers. Overall I’d recommend this place for remote workers and backpackers on budget but best to stay away the next couple of months. I can’t imagine the stress this must have brought onto the hostel, and again, this review isn’t meant to criticize the hostel but to alert fellow travelers as it is something I’d like to know too. 🙏
