The best location you can imagine. It's calm and quiet being 5 minutes away from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Nothing fancy but all you need by traveling. Clean and friendly. Breakfasts are helpful as well.

This is a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend it for your stay in Istanbul. All the staff from the people at the front desk to the cleaning crew and the dining area staff are all so caring and friendly. It is conveniently located to the Tram stop, Grand Bazaar and shopping areas. We’ve stayed there multiple times and never a negative moment.

The Sultanhan is in a perfect location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go, yet it is set back off a main street to escape the noise of a bustling city. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The free breakfast on the top floor was awesome and provided wonderful views. We ate there enough days that the staff began to recognize us and on the last day, they surprised my husband with a free omelet (that item was an extra charge on their buffet) which was very nice. What makes this hotel stand out is the front desk staff, particularly Engin. He was so darn helpful and friendly! We wanted to take the ferry over to the Asian side of Istanbul and talked to Engin about how to go about it. He loaned us his ferry card that we could put money on to make the transfer back and forth easier. That was immensely helpful and appreciated! One of our tours was late picking us up and the staff went out of his way to find out what was going on and resolved the issue. Engin also booked a night boat excursion for us. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and experience with Sultanhan!

Engin and the entire staff immediately made me feel as if I had just arrived home instead of checking into a hotel. On a quiet street in the center of Fatih, close to all of your tourist destinations and surrounded by a cornucopia of incredible restaurants, Sultanhan will always be one of my favorites as I am already dreaming of a return trip in the near future.

Perfect stay. Second visit to Istanbul and Sultanhan Hotel didn’t disappoint. Great location in the historic area, close to all major sights. Staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always welcoming. Early check-in and complimentary breakfast were a nice touch. Great morning views over the historic landmarks and the Bosphorus made it even better to enjoy our breakfast. Cons.Can do with more renovated furniture. Looking forward to coming back again.

The Sultanhan Hotel couldn't be better situated. Within walking distance of main historical attractions, Bazaar, restaurants and trams. The staff were so sweet and helpful. The spa wasn't open due to maintenance so unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the hotel discount. The short trips offered were reasonable and offered hotel transfers. Breakfast in the rooftop terrace gave exceptional views of Sultanahmet and sea of Marmara and dishes were varied, fresh and tasty. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

İstanbul gezimiz boyunca ailece kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettiğimiz bir otelde konakladık. 4 kişi olarak rahat ve huzurlu bir konaklama geçirdik. Özellikle personelin samimiyeti ve misafirlerle ilgilenme şekli gerçekten takdiri hak ediyor. Her konuda yardımcı olmaya çalışmaları bizi çok mutlu etti. Sabah kahvaltıları beklentimizin çok üzerindeydi. Hem kaliteli hem de oldukça zengin bir kahvaltı vardı. Güne böyle güzel başlamak tüm geziye ayrı keyif kattı. Konum açısından ise bence İstanbul’daki en avantajlı noktalardan birinde yer alıyor. Tarihi ve turistik yerlere birkaç dakikada ulaşabildik. Tramvay durağının hemen yanında olması sayesinde ulaşım hiç yorucu olmadı. Aracıyla gelenler için otopark imkanının bulunması da büyük rahatlık sağlıyor. Ayrıca Avrasya Tüneli’ne yakın olması şehir giriş çıkışını çok kolaylaştırıyor. İstanbul’da hem konumu hem hizmet kalitesiyle bu seviyede başka bir otel bulmanın gerçekten zor olduğunu düşünüyorum. Güzel ağırlamanız için tüm ekibe teşekkür ederiz.

Ailemle birlikte 4 kişi olarak Sultanhan Hotel’de 2 gece konakladık ve gerçekten çok memnun kaldık. Çocuğumuzla rahat edebilmemiz bizim için çok önemliydi ve otel bu konuda beklentimizi fazlasıyla karşıladı. Kahvaltısı mükemmeldi. Tüm çalışanlar çok ilgili, güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Otelin konumu zaten İstanbul tarihinin tam kalbinde. Birçok tarihi yere yürüyerek ulaşabildik. Tramvay durağının hemen yanında olması ulaşımı inanılmaz kolaylaştırdı. Ayrıca otopark imkanının olması bizim için büyük bir nimetti. Avrasya Tüneli’ne yaklaşık 5 dakika mesafede olması da araçla ulaşım açısından büyük avantaj sağladı. İstanbul’da daha iyi bir konumda ve bu kadar kaliteli hizmet sunan başka bir otel bulabileceğimizi sanmıyorum. Güzel misafirperverliğiniz için teşekkür ederiz. İstanbul’a tekrar geldiğimizde ilk tercihimiz kesinlikle yine Sultanhan Hotel olacak.

The hotel is perfectly located in the historic district. Their buffet breakfast had a wide variety of well made food. The rooftop restaurant & view was excellent. Staff went above and beyond expectations and were extremely helpful and pleasant. I felt perfectly at home here and will return again.

We enjoyed the most wonderful stay at this hotel! Our wish was accommodation that had the vibrant Turkish appeal, was a safe location and near the many highlights of Istanbul. The hotel atrium was totally elegantly decorated, the entire premise was very clean and welcoming. The staff spoke excellent English, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating to the point that they walked us to the Hop on Hop off bus stop and recommended the best restaurants. Our breakfast was included, had such a massive, delicious selection and was served on the 6th floor with the most remarkable views of the Blue Mosque and amazing surrounding area. We most definitely would highly recommend!

The location is outstanding, walking distance to Many sights and restaurants. The Staff was terrific, helpful and tremendously friendly. Their recommendations for meals were wonderful! We will stay there again and recommend to others traveling to Istanbul! The price was fair!
