I felt very well taken care of and happy. A fitness fanatic I found Ivy Health Club to be very easily accessible, with convenient parking, very clean and equipped with a large shower and changing room. My fitness trainer was always on point and interacting with me something I was missing from the previous one.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived because this wasn't my first visit. The bar and restaurant were incredibly welcoming, and the gym and its amenities had been upgraded. The restaurant has a piano, and having a live pianist makes it unique. Children can go to the kids park as a great way to escape the outdoors, and people who want to enjoy an open-fire barbecue can do so in the hotel gardens. There were a large number of cuisine options available at all dinner hours.

I always stay at the Ivy Hotel mainly because of the service that is great around and the employees are very friendly. I've stayed at Ivy before but this time I just show up without a reservation. I was unable to find a suitable room at that time. I missed my connection in Amsterdam and was delayed in Leeds due to fog and eventually took a different flight via Airbus. The hotel was able to provide me with a meal at that time and went out of their way to meet additional requests from guests which is a plus.

I stayed at a hotel with a service group based on its location, price, and amenities. Some people in the group found it acceptable, while others had some issues. Pros 1 location for where our service project was, 2 nice amenities like a pool, exercise room, masseuse on premises, bar, 3 staff were very accommodating to requests, cons 1 some rooms in the group were good, others were not very good, 2 internet was spotty at best, 3 lighting in the rooms could be improved. The group ate at the hotel several times and although there were some minus, they were addressed. Most of the group though not all were satisfied with the quality of the food. Have stayed at a number of hotels in developing countries and this hotel is similar in terms of what to expect versus the price paid. The greatest thing the hotel had going for them was brian, who was constantly in the background handling food orders, bars, and seats, getting currency exchanged, and trying to resolve issues as they arose. He clearly had a love for helping people and trying to make their stay as pleasant as possible. nice job brian!.

I flew into Entebbe early in the early morning and the hotel knew I was coming in at 4AM. The hotel is suppose to be a 24 hotel, when I arrived the attendant was not there. The guard had to call him and I waited for 20 minutes until he arrived. He then asked me to pay for the early arrival in cash which was half of the amount for a day stay. So I gave him 2 NEW 20 dollar bills and I asked for a receipt, he said I would receive it tomorrow. So on my last day, the conceige told me that the bank would not receive my 2 twenty dollar bills and I needed to give another type of payment. I was enraged! Come to find out, the night attended switched my NEW twenties with 2 OLD twenties. The bank would not receive dollar bills past certain date. So, I did not feel safe at this hotel! I was hurt and I told the Conceige that they need to fire him! I also said that I would give a review, to give people a heads up of how Ivys Hotel treats their customers.
