If you don't close your eyes, it's fine. In the bar, I asked whether the local cuisine had any meat, and they did, but they made me something without. They were incredibly friendly and had no trouble speaking English. Everything was fine for the amount we spent. The neighborhood may appear odd, but it's fine. I suppose you get what you expect for that amount with this one. I thought it would be challenging to locate after reading the evaluation, but we managed to locate the hotel quickly and had a room on the third level. Two tiny single beds and a bathroom. Because we are active and only utilize the hotel for sleeping, this is fine. Low standard, but tidy. If you don't pay too close attention, it's good. The front desk staff was not unfriendly and responded in straightforward English. Credit cards were accepted, as were they at the front desk as well. When I asked if the local dishes had meat, which they did, but they did serve me something without meat. They spoke English well and were extremely polite. Everything went well for the cost we spent. The neighborhood may appear strange, but that's okay.

Would I suggest this hotel? Yes, I would. I booked 3 premium double rooms, which are slightly more expensive but not that much. We were pleasantly pleased by the spacious, spotless, and comfortable rooms. The beds are large and extremely cozy. The train, metro, and bus stations are just a five-minute walk away, making the hotel ideal for sightseeing. All of the staff members were courteous and spoke excellent English. Corridors are a touch antiquated, but that adds to the charm. Breakfast was excellent. We had a croissant with cheese and ham, porridge, and eggs, and there's also toasted toast. As much tea and coffee as you prefer. The hotel bar is open 24 hours a day and is ideal for a nightcap before bed. It's also reasonably priced. The only disadvantage is that there is no kettle in the room to make tea and coffee. Overall, our time at this motel was fantastic.

I was looking for a cheap hotel near the railway station, with standard rooms, good service, and decent breakfast. Everything is at an affordable price. I suggest this hotel if you need to take an early train or a train to the airport.

The location is on the third story of a 31 story tower block, the reception is a very weird arrangement. They are great for their price, and the room works as it says in the title. However, they are very basic and lack a kettle and other amenities. Staff could barely speak English and had a hard time talking to most of them. They also looked at us as if they hated us every time we tried to speak English to them. Room service appears to exist but there isn't a menu in the room, we called my ukrainian sim, there was no phone in the room after finding the menu online only to be hung up on after the person on the other end could barely speak a word of English. We then went to the bar to order pizzas straight from there, we were told. The food took about an hour, we had been traveling and had not eaten all day, and other locals were having their food well before us. Overall adequate for the price and location, but the place is unfriendly, we would have spent more to stay somewhere nicer if it hadn't been nicer.

The price I paid for the room was worth the price. I didn't need a window, but oddly, I found one with bare wires hanging out and was not good at all, and the nearby plug socket wasn't in very good shape either. The beds were a fairly comfortable place to be, but as they are made of heavy metal, there was not enough room for the bed to move around. The bathroom was good, but the shower was just a dribble and you could choose whether it wanted to be hot or cold itself. There are no complaints about the service, but next time I go to Kiev, I'll choose a hotel with a decent shower. If you're doing Chernobyl welcome tours, you're not far from the pick up area, it's just a walk down the road and through the train station.
