I stayed at two hotels during my week in Kiev and this was my favourite. The atmosphere is calm and refined, near the river. Staff at the front desk and restaurant were efficient and friendly from check-in to check-out. They were very helpful in giving directions, arranging cars, making restaurant reservations and recommendations. The decor of the room is simple, modern and comfortable. The restaurant on the seventh floor is simply stunning and the breakfast (included) is impeccable. Breakfast is ordered off a menu; there are not a lot of choices but everything is delicious and with beautiful presentation. This is much more elegant than a buffet, in my opinion. Kyiv can be a complicated city to navigate if one does not speak Russian or Ukrainian, but the staff and setting at Riviera House make me want to return.

Hotel is well situated right next to the Funikuler. The roof top restaurant provide great views especially at sunset. Hotel is neat and staff is professional and efficient.

Great recently renovated hotel. Excellent location in front of the sniper. On the top floor, there is a splendid bar and restaurant with a view of the city. High-quality bedding and a tasty breakfast. Nice team.

The room quality was very good, and was located in a good location. The water in all bathrooms was also yellow with copper particles. There are also other issues with the room, such as, the ac that doesn't work in the room or the water that is yellow with copper particles. It's better to consider changing the room.

The hotel is located in a historical area of kiev right next to a metro station and is right beside a pool. The place is stylish and very comfortable, with nice interior light, a comfortable bed, and a great bathroom. On arrival, a chef gave us some cute items. We visited twice and had a great time. Breakfast is good and on the floor, with a restaurant with a great view, especially in the evening with kiev at night, and a very delicious kitchen one salad with warm eggplant and another with eel, the chef was really impressed. One of the perfect moments was to sit by the window in the evening to enjoy the view and the very good food. Will definitely come back, we'll come back to kiev again.

The hotel is lovely and new. The staff is also friendly. The food was a disaster, the worst coffee I've ever had was not suitable for a 5 star hotel. Things I forgot in a hurry disappeared when I returned within a few hours. The spa is lovely but the sauna is always cold..

This place is recommended, even though I don't call it a five-star hotel. But, it's a 4 star hotel with excellent location in Kiev. You can see a beautiful view of Kiev from the balcony. Staff is friendly and helpful.
