Stayed at the property for one night whilst attending the Take That concert. Lorraine was so friendly, informative and helpful in welcoming us to our rooms. The rooms were beautiful, well presented and comfortable. We had a lovely time. Breakfast was very nice, well organised and cooked beautifully. We would recommend this B&B to all travellers. We would definitely revisit if we’re back in Glasgow again. Thank you

Our host Lorraine was gracious and accommodating. She led us to our beautiful room, showed us the lay of the building, and gave us wonderful dining options (The Gael and Grains takes traditional Scottish food to another level). She also prepared a delicious breakfast served to our room. The building is a restored traditional Georgian with spacious rooms and high ceilings. A close through a park to Kelvingrove Museum and U of Glasgow. Close walk to City Center too. Regretfully, our stay was too short. Would have loved to have stayed for days… HIGHLY recommend over any hotel in the area.

Wow factor! This was a one night stay but will always be remembered . Warm greeting from Lorraine and explanation of the hotel and local attractions. The particular room we had was excellent with great character and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a delicious selection of starters for breakfast followed by a home cooked Scottish breakfast. We will return in the future for sure. I would absolutely recommend this hotel

Perfect stay. Lorraine is phenomenal. The whole building feels very lah ti dah, but not pretentious. Great location with easy walking distance from the hip west end and the fancy city center. Great breakfast. Great rooms. Totally great.

Lovely welcome from Lorraine who showed us the lounge with a fridge for guests, books, magazines, DVDs etc. then took us to our room. Our room was gorgeous, huge and spotlessly clean with tea, coffee and biscuits provided (GF for hubbie). It had everything we needed and more. Bed was really comfortable. Place was really quiet even though there were guests in all the other rooms. Breakfast brought to our room was delicious and set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend.

Lorraine runs a wonderful place, with wonderful breakfast, free parking in the back alley and immaculatelty clean rooms with extremely tall ceilings. The location is great, 5 mins to the Finnieston high street restaurants, and about a 15 min walk to the Scottish Event Campus/the Ovo. Highly recommended!

Very large room, simple but nice styling. Good bathroom with bath and shower. A large lounge which guests can use, with a range of books, magazines and games, and a fridge where guests can store things if they need to. Complimentary Baileys available as a nightcap. Lorraine was a lovely host, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was sgokd.

Loved, loved, loved this place! It was like stepping back in time. Rooms are huge and very well decorated! Lorraine, our host was so considerate. Breakfast was very good and it was unique being served in our room. The morning we left, we were departing prior to breakfast being serve and she offered to send us with a lunch. We told her that it wasn’t necessary and she still brought us bagged cookies to take with us. She had good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. I would definitely want to come back here and stay longer. Two nights was not enough.
