Room was excellent. Access to the swimming pool and sauna was much appreciated to start a day exploring edinburgh

No laundry facilities for guest use—only laundry service. Otherwise fabulous! The staff were so friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early in the morning, which was a lifesaver because we were wiped out from traveling. They helped us figure out how to use the train station when we were leaving as well. The train station is a stone’s throw from the hotel—very convenient. We loved our stay and would stay here again!

Excellent location, walking distance to most places we wanted to go including the Royal Mile, Princes Street, Stockbridge, Holyrood House, National museum of Scotland, national galleries, Scot Monument, the list goes on. Hotel was excellent for breakfast and we had an evening meal on one of the nights which was also excellent. Bar has a nice ambience and staff very attentive. The room itself was so clean and bed extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time and experience at Apex Hotels. Travelled alone with my 3 year old daughter, and we were welcomed with the nicest surprise - balloons! My daughter absolutely loved it and that start to our stay made it absolutely amazing. The pool was great, the bed comfy and the staff exceptional!

An absolutely incredible stay. While I won’t go into specifics, the staff here went completely above and beyond in a way that left me overwhelmed with gratitude. Their kindness and exceptional service turned a standard hotel stay into an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The team here are truly special.

Fizemos tudo a pé! Certamente ficaria neste hotel caso volte à cidade!

Apex always seems good value for money. It is in a very convenient, albeit crowded location, but our room was very comfortable and quiet. Very near all you want to see in Edinburgh. There is a tunnel at bottom floor that gives you an easier access to the train station...much better than fighting the hordes on the main street. Did not use any of their amenities as we were only in the city a short time, but would definitely recommend.

Located across the street from bus stop, walking distance to major transportation hub, bridge to Old Town, shopping, restaurants, museums, and more. I chose this hotel because it has air con & a king sized bed.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and staff couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. Breakfast was great, couldn’t eat it all. Didn’t use the bar. Would definitely return as location great. Got an upgrade on arrival which was a nice surprise but room could’ve been better, sofa was well worn and a couple of spars of wood on entry needed replaced or rubbed down and varnished again.
