I reserved one room for four nights, room 3, side with the red door. Toiletshower sharing. Advantages excellent location, 2 minutes to walk to Cardiff Castle and 5 minutes to walk to bars, restaurants, and main stores. Electric button code on the front and rear door, good security. Cons Bed uncomfy, very small room, leaking shower head, tightening shower head and dirty bathroom floor. I didn't see anyone working there, but email contacts were available. I parked on Cathedral Road because there was no free parking near the area. I am unable to comment on the noise issue. Overall, you get what you pay for. The holiday inn is the closest to Austin, and I'll probably stay there the next time.

The door was very noisy and was slammed shut. The room was clean and had all the necessities. The location was great, about 10 minutes walk from town center, and the guesthouse is right on the river. I can hear everything happening in the adjoining room and upstairs. Wish they would oil the doors as well.

Great location, 510 min walk from the center, but far enough for a quiet stay. We booked a double bed to ensure the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Excellent value for money compared to other hotels and guesthouses in the vicinity. There were streaming options such as youtube and netflix. The only downside was the bathroom window was stuck and wouldn't open, and not enough toilet paper was provided. Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely return.
