The reception was very accommodating when we asked if it was possible to stay in a room a bit more so we could shower after an ocean swim, they checked to see if it was booked and it wasn't that night so kindly let us have it a bit longer. Really appreciated. Great location and amazing amazing beaches!

Well I booked this hotel through hotels.com and was pleased 2 pay £50.00 4 bed and breakfast as that is what was advertised. My hubby found the same hotel on booking.com 4 room only at £45.00. So I was happy 2 get the room and breakfast. However when I arrived at the hotel they said we couldn't hv breakfast due 2 covid conditions. So they gave me a receipt 4 £41.00. But hotels.com hv still charged me £50.00 from my account! I look 4ward 2 a £9.00 deposit back 2 my account as breakfast cost me £22.00 elsewhere.

Location very good for beach and town. Hotel does need updating . Relatively clean public areas . Room very clean. Pool very nice . Very friendly staff. Could be fab with updating of rooms .

We stayed here for the Boardmasters festival and it was ideally located being so close to several beaches and where the buses stopped to take you to Boardmasters. The reception staff were lovely and very welcoming. The hotel could use some updating but it was clean and tidy. We didn't have any shower gel in the bathroom which was a shame but there was a Tesco 2 minutes up the road so we could pick some up. The hotel has huge potential and it is a big hotel with a quiet floor but there were just a few little things that let it down.

The building itself was okay, if not very old fashioned. The pool area was nice but limited to 8 at a time so we had to wait a little while. The room had almost no plug sockets and no WiFi in the rooms which wasn't ideal when signal is poor. Staff were lovely and very helpful when the electricity went out when we got in. Beds were comfortable and overall not bad but limited in what it provides.

Staff were lovely and helpful. BUT….. black mould in the bathroom! Enough to trigger my asthma. Breakfast was cold every day and the coach holiday people were always seen to first! I requested some toast for my little one and never got it. The high chair was disgusting…… mould in the creases! We did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel for this reason. The pool was nice however!

Very tired condition. Room not serviced during stay-needed to ask for towels. Beds very uncomfortable. Damp patches on ceiling. Tv did not work

Room was quite small but ok for the length of our stay, beds were comfy, it could do with a update, it was clean enough but could of been better, the hotel is a coach holiday hotel so the staff seem to pay more attention to their coach guests than others, breakfast was ok. We definitely paid over the odds for a 2 night stay but this is due to fact that there is very very little availability in Newquay this summer so it’s supply and demand at inflated prices

Bedroom windows damaged and locked shut with newspaper stuffed in the gaps. Rusty radiator in bathroom. Old and worn furnishings.

Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful but the hotel was quite tired looking, in need of good clean. Lift was out of order and we were on 3rd floor. Room and bed very small

Well positioned hotel, close to the beach,but I wouldn't go back here. There was no parking space, I had to find where to park my car. This hotel needs renovation.
