Great staff - beautiful location - overlooking the River Naver leading to the North Sea. Dining room and pub are excellent - and have classic charm.

Great location for the North Coast 500, beautiful setting with a fantastic sunset looking down to the beach. All the staff very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were incredibly clean and they have obviously recently renovated all of the bathrooms to a high standard. Dinner and breakfast were both to really high standard. Disappointing element was that they do not permit corkage, particularly as I had phoned ahead and was specifically told this was possible and purchased a “special occasion” bottle of wine accordingly. Given that the Hotel had told me this was possible, I would have appreciated the Restaurant manager offering flexibility - but it was a hard no.

We booked several hotels around the NC500 route, and I have to say, from online pictures, this is the one I was most dubious of, but I am happy to say that it has been the best one we've stayed in so far. The view from the front deck and restaurant are absolutely stunning. The pictures online do not dp it justice. The room was well kept, clean, and tidy. It was a little on the small side, but perfect for the one night we stayed. For breakfast we asked for vegan, it was no issue, and really tasty. We even had vegan haggis. I've never eaten haggis before, vegan or otherwise, and was pleasantly surprised to discover how delicious it was. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling the NC500.

Great stay here. We liked everything about the property. Beautiful view from our room. The restaurant was top notch and the staff (thumbs up to Chris) was very friendly and efficient. We even experienced a Scottish wake being held in the bar for a local celebrity. Highly recommend.

The hotel is ideally located with stunning views. The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant provided a delicious meal and the bar has a comfy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Limited options in Northern Scotland, but this met all expectations. Great staff, clean rooms, beautiful setting. Rooms are a bit small, but are very comfortable. Good breakfast and nice restaurant/bar.

Stayed in the cottage as it was out of season, so the hotel was closed. Lovely cottage to break our NC500 journey - good facilities. Needed some support when the heating hadn't come on, and one of the owners was on site within 10 minutes of a text - brilliant service! Would highly recommend.

The hotel is nicely appointed, very clean and tidy indeed. The location is obviously beautiful, the view out over the bay is stunning. Service, dinner, breakfast etc etc were all great. Zack is an asset too, what a great member of staff.
