We spent two nights at the moorhall hotel before attending the New Years Eve celebration. We were greeted warmly at the front desk when we arrived, and our room was prepared earlier than expected. Our apartment was welcoming and tidy. The mattress was extremely comfy. Strangely, there was only one bedside cabinet, which we reported, and the staff solved it in 15 minutes, so no complaints. My only gripe as a female is that not much thought had been put into getting ready in the room. It was awkward due to the lighting and the lack of enough sockets. Although the bathroom had the brighter illumination, there is nothing to plug in, and my companion was using it there. Having said that, many hotels have this problem. Just a few more sockets and a bright light about the mirror suffice. Both mornings breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of hot food. Again, the staff was graciously rendered. The night prior new years remembrances were awful. The do was awful. The best music was played during the meal. I dont know why this wasnt saved because the crowd would be entertained by two micks. There was no big ben chimes, he appeared disinterested and bored. midnight was saved by the piper! The entire setup was unprofessional and abysmal. As midnight approached, we were the only two remaining on our

From reception to spa bar to restaurant, the staff was quite pleasant. Our room was contemporary and clean with tea, coffee, a safe, and a comfortable shower. We could still converse while the bar had a few minutes of quiet music. The spa, sauna, steam room, and hot tub were all excellent. The chef, James, was an incredibly passionate cook who cooked our chapel dinner. What a lovely man he is. Belle, who served us in the restaurant and was a blessing to this hotel, was delightful, cheerful, and beautifully prepared. Magically, the grounds were lit at night after a brief woodland walk around a damaged garden. Better than most of what we've used, excellent value, and a memorable start to 2023. Thank you to everyone on staff.

I came with a friend to celebrate my birthday. Everything was amazing! From the accommodation to dinner to breakfast. The staff was fantastic in every department, especially in the country kitchen! We had a beautiful meal and the staff went above and beyond by giving me a special birthday dessert plate. I was blown away by the fact that every passing staff member said happy birthday, a lovely touch. The room was brilliant, so clean, warm and comfortable. I had a great stay and can't wait to make a return reservation in the future!.

Especially in the area where the motel is located, I really adore moor hall. Always courteous, very helpful, and willing to help. With rooms that feel like theyve not had anything done to them in over ten years or more, the hotel itself is getting old. The room we were in was right next to the front desk, directly across from a less than adequate car park. There is one at the back with EV charging stations, and it was comparatively quiet but not always. If you like blackout, the curtains and drapes, however, provide fantastic blackout. was also well climated. Although the veggie option for my partner was stuffed peppers, which didn't really match up with the christmas dinner that the carvery served. The back car park is subpar and unsuitable given the size of the hotel and what it has to offer, there is a rear parking lot, which is slightly larger but still not great because it has EV charging points that you must pay for. Although the car parks are somewhat small, it is a pleasure to drive to it around 12 miles. Just be cautious of the golfers since it is so busy at times.
