The rooms were excellent and the surrounding area was great for an evening walk around the golf course. The restraunt and bar being onsite meant that we didn't have to go searching for somewhere in the local area. Breakfast was superb with a wide choice. A great place to stay close to Coleraine and the north coast. I really recommend it.

Breakfast menu was great .. everything freshly cooked to your taste .. homemade wheaten bread was first class! Open log fire in the snug was wonderful & the craic at the bar was awesome! We knew no one when we got there, but had made several new friends by the time we left! Jane is awesome & will do whatever she can to make your stay even better.

The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.

We stayed a night with the dog and it’s a perfect site to walk the dog straight from the hotel door. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel too, which included gluten free options.

Lovely setting, lovely staff. We had a wonderful visit and especially loved the courtyard area, our relaxing room, and the little nook by the fireplace. Oh, and the very accommodating and helpful staff!

I absolutely loved my stay here. ❤️ The room was big, clean, and very cozy. The staff were incredible; so helpful and kind. (Jane even drove me into town twice because I had trouble getting taxis.) And the restaurant is SO good! Big portions and so delicious; the included breakfast is phenomenal. A bonus is that the locals who frequent the pub are such lovely, lovely people. I had a wonderful time and will definitely come back for another stay.

We stayed in cottage number 4, and while the BTI is not fancy, you will love the friendly staff and delicious food. Drinks by the fire were just what we needed after a long day. So many happy memories here.

Beautiful relaxing stay for our anniversary. We have stayed here several time and never disappointed. Food and drink is excellent. Staff are so friendly an nothing is to much trouble for them they coupdnt do enought for us. Cant recommend the brown trout any more for bussiness or pleasure.

Pleasantly greeted at check in by pleasant staff member . Food at dinner time was plentiful and very tasty , breakfast was top notch and cooked freshly. Rooms were spotlessly clean with everything needed . Every member of staff worked tirelessly during our overnight stay and deserve a mention. Wouldn't hesitate to return .
