Faultless stay! Lovely calm location, very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Home away from home! I cannot stress how wonderfully clean it was, with excellent facilities. Very comfy bed, great shower! I enjoyed being welcomed back by a very sweet little black cat every evening! Lovely walks to the beach right on the doorstep. We will definitely be staying here again, would 100% recommend.

Didn't see he host at all during my stay. Although there were no issues, I knew if I needed them they were a phone call away. The room was well equipped with a bath and shower, kettle, hair dryer, towels etc. Very comfortable and quiet. I dropped something out of my pocket and as I was looking for it, seen that under the furniture was covered in dust accompanied by a spider on my towels. I was a little freaked at this, but it's the country. It's to be expected.

We had a wonderful weekend at Burton Farmhouse. Our room was clean and cozy, Ann was so friendly and helpful. The whole weekend was just perfect.

This is a charming farmhouse building in a delightful country village nestled down a very narrow one-lane road. There is no reception but a welcome note was left and there are ample facilities to be able to choose a comfortable seat and enjoy the surroundings both inside and out. Surprising in todays world, there is a bar and an honesty box, and a supply of board games. The single room was quite a squeeze for my suitcase but there was everything else i needed including tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I would certainly recommend this place as ideal for xp.oring the surrounding countryside, Kingsbridge and, of course, Hope Cove which is a short drive away and quite a delight.

Fantastic couple of nights at this b&b, which is a gem of a find in one of our favourite places. The family room was very spacious, with seating as well as very comfortable beds. The TV/DVD was a bonus. We crashed early one night to watch a movie. The hostess tray was generously laid with plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was clean and spacious and endless hot water. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of cereal to choose from, toast (you make your own in a toaster so it is the right colour!), and freshly cooked English breakfast, which was delicious. Set in its own grounds with a large lawned area with play equipment outside for the kids. The people working there were all so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to stay here again.

The Burton Farmhouse is in a lovely part of the world and although a little old fashioned offers excellent value for money. The room was clean and the staff really friendly and the Breakfast was incredible. Its not fancy or stylish by any means but offers alot for not much money. I would stay again without a doubt!

The farmhouse is lovely: very homely, cosy and the staff were friendly and left us to come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was generous and very tasty. The location is great, close to Salcombe and Hope Cove but out of the way enough to let you explore areas you wouldn't otherwise have seen. Our room (basic double) was small but cosy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Very easy self service checkin for a lovely room that had everything we could need for our stay. The venue is set in on a lovely farm with a great BBQ area and a short walk (30mins) down to a lovely local beach

Burton Farmhouse provides very reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation a 10 minute drive from Salcombe. It's bed only not breakfast but there is a kettle, fridge, crockery, etc. in the room. Checking in and out was easy.

An unusual level of independence given to the traveller - very limited contact with hosts but you knew they were there if needed and they certainly responded to our needs promptly ! This arrangement suited our needs , but might not suit those that enjoy more contact with the hosts .

It would help if the Wi-fi was improved as we had absolutely no phone signal and none of us were able to connect to the free Wi-Fi. The owners were very kind in allowing us to use their landline to book a taxi. Aside from the Wi-Fi issue, we enjoyed our stay and the room was comfortable.
