A wonderful, welcoming home away from home! We felt incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The hosts were amazing and provided us with so many fantastic, detailed tips for the area. The room was tastefully decorated with beautiful, thoughtful details. Everything was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped with all the essentials, we especially appreciated having a fridge in the room. Breakfast was another highlight, especially the freshly chopped fruit for our muesli. What makes this place truly special, though, is the wonderful family-like atmosphere. We recommend this accommodation 100%. There is absolutely nothing we could complain about. Thank you so much for everything, and we’d gladly come back.

Thoroughly recommend the Calm Sea Guesthouse as a place to stay. Mel and Trish were wonderful hosts and made every effort to make our stay as special as possible, even when we arrived Trish came with us to show us the nearest car park where we were able to park for free. Room was clean, very nice welcome treats on the bed on our arrival. Beds were very comfortable, although we didn’t sleep very well, this was only the fault of the usually high temperatures at the time of our visit. Breakfast selection was great and the food was cooked well and very tasty!

The owners are both very accommodating it truly feels like a home away from home. We also loved the breakfast; it was so good, it felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel. The location and the room are excellent too.

Just had a lovely couple of days at Calm Sea Guest House. Mel & Trish were the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely cooked breakfast. Our room was very spacious and clean. It was just 2mins walk to the beach front and close to all the restaurants and bars. Will definitely be staying again.

A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend.

We spent 4 nights in room 2, and were well looked after from start to finish. Mel and Trish were excellent hosts, very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations for the local area. They helped with parking as it's a busy area and overall we had a lovely time.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Guesthouse! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The hosts gave us great recommendations for local places to eat and visit, which made our trip even more special. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. Overall, everything was perfect – a truly friendly and homely atmosphere. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to others!

Bra beliggenhet. Fikk god informasjon om hva vi kunne se og gjøre. God frokost med mye å velge mellom. Litt trangt med fire senger på ett rom. Kan bli varmt med bare ett vindu som kan åpnes. Men hjemmekoselig med hyggelige betjening. Kommer gjerne igjen

From before our holiday even started, our hosts were attentive and informative. Mel and Trish were extremely welcoming and helpful. They met my family and I at our drop off location and took us to the guesthouse showing us all the best attractions and places to eat. We felt right at home when we arrived and the room was immaculate, with lovely treats for all of us - the games for the kids was an amazing touch - we loved the fresh milk in the fridge too! From old to young, our hosts went all out for each one of us and we could see all the guests were well looked after. Breakfast was fantastic, sooo delicious and fresh. Plenty of options and nothing felt too much for Trish and Mel who were not fussed by any request, in fact our hosts would arrange solutions before we even had to ask which was just amazing and heartwarming. we felt so safe and comfortable. Property is so close to the beach with lots of eateries around. Downstairs in hotel is a handy tuck shop. Plenty of tea and coffee to keep everyone satisfied. The overall experience was like going from home to home. There is nothing to fault and we feel beyond blessed to have experienced such lovely hosts for our trip. We are already planning our return. Thank you so much Mel and Trish <3
