Fantastic staff especially the supervisor of the housekeepers, the are oh so polite and attentive. The rooms seem like they need revamping but overal a lovely hotel.

Good value. Excellent amenties such as microwave in room, fridge, iron board & iron. Quite an old [ we are appreciate the beauty of old buildings] building but given the price and limitations of what it would cost to renovate the hotel was more than reasonable. We felt safe, the room was huge & clean.

The hotel reception area is clean and the receptionist was helpful if not especially welcoming. The room was a mixture in that it was perfectly clean and had recently been refitted, but the wallpaper was torn and stained , the curtains not hanging securely and one light and the phone were not working. Again the bathroom was spotless but the trim along the bottom of the bath panel was missing and the remains of a previous seal were scruffy. All in all, it was as though a refurbishment had been only 80% completed. But the bed was comfy and we slept soundly.

The hotel room and facilities were very good also the main entrance was very nice around the main corridors of the hotel looked tired. Over all a very happy with the stay.

The reviews I had read weren’t very positive, but we had a great stay at this hotel, we had come to Birmingham for a concert and this hotel was perfect for our needs, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly. It was a great price too.

I was pleasantly surprised upon entry of my room. It was very spacious and well furnished for comfort. I had a great nights sleep. The bed was soooo comfortable 😌 😴. Nice clean bathroom with everything working. Very good for the price and I would stay again.

The room itself was clean enough, the bathroom however was a state, mouldy and a strong whiff of urine. The "waterfall" shower head decided to fall off over my head as well and smash my toe, had a crack in the fitting and had been precariously fixed, a case of not my problem ended up in my foot being badly hurt.

We had a 2pm check in, got there at 2.30 and the room was not ready. Rang up to book a car park space was told there would be no need as they never have a problem with parking, got there and the car park was full. Had to wait for both a room and parking.

The first couple of nights was very, very noisy, slamming of doors, men and women shouting at each other from across the corridor (they were same party). Last 3 nights were nice peaceful. The pillows were awful, flat like pancakes but the linen was very clean, bed quite compfy. The cleaners came everyother day, gave me clean towels every time. I was very pleased to see a small fridge in my wardrobe (which I used). The hairdryer was fantastc, better than mine. I went out for food everynight. Over all it was ok, I'd go back.

Disappointing as not as described on website. No restaurant. Had to ask for more teabags. No luxury toiletries or marble bathroom....no luxury whatsoever. No bathrobes and had to ask for bigger towels. It was clean and comfortable and for what we got correctly priced ....but definitely needs to correct the description on the website.

The hotel needs to be renovated right away, I could see that up grades where carried out on the bathrooms recently but the remainder of the hotel is in urgent need of repair.
