We booked this hotel primarily for its proximity to the airport, and its free airport shuttle. We weren’t expecting a luxurious stay, but that’s what we got! From the hotel decor, to the cleanliness and decor of the rooms, to an amazing dining experience at the restaurant, to the great customer service, to the ease and luxury of the shuttle, this hotel experience was five-star!

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at this wonderful hotel. The clean, modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff made our visit stress-free and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful, newer hotel, modern vibe. Closer to the airport. 15-20 minute walk to Queensferry. Chose this hotel because it's close to the airport and has a shuttle. Easy walk to Queensferry for dinner by the water for our last night, but you can eat in the hotel. Lovely area.

The room was wonderfully comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was prompt and we were relieved to have something taken off our plates in terms of planning on how to get to the airport. We had a great and restful stay!

A trip marred by a death in the family and lost luggage was only made better by this staff. Kieran, Sam, Brooke, Alana, Nathan, Ruth, Cooper, Kaitlin, Meagan and Nicole responded with genuine kindness, compassion, generosity and cheerfulness. I was moved to tears by their concern for my wife and I. This staff and the Scots are a wonderful and outstanding people that went out of their way to help us and to make us happy. I strongly recommend Dakota Edinburgh to all. You won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous hotel with very helpful staff. Clean and very quiet, had a very nice stay. Not a city center hotel- you will have to take a taxi anywhere you want to go. Nothing is walking distance.

Free Airport shuttle and breakfast are definitely making this my favorite place for connecting my next morning flight to Stornoway. Testco within walking distance and restaurants too!!

The Dakota was a perfect end to a vacation as it was close to the airport and yet in a quiet seemingly rural location. They had a delicious onsite restaurant and helpful, friendly staff. There was a clean and well fitted gym for exercise. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Thanks for the stay.

Room didn’t have a fridge in my case to store meds but also good for cool drinks etc. too. I would have expected for 4 star rating. Very helpful staff brought one quickly on request.

Fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel. My room was spectacular and the staff were amazing. My only issue was several guests had doubled parked making parking in the car park difficult. Not the fault of the hotel or staff.

I got in very late after a long travel day. The manager was very welcoming and helped me get a beer even though the bar was closed.

Dark. Not unpleasant but dark. Dark wood, dark tables, dark blinds.
