We would like to thank Carolyn and Chris at Disblair House for providing us with the best bed and breakfast stay we have ever had. We could not fault anything about our stay , from the warm welcome , the comfortable en-suite , the amazing breakfast and the lovely quirky decor and best of all the friendliness of the hosts. We hope to return.

Such a gorgeous place to stay with everything you could need to be comfortable and sleep restfully. Karolynn and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful and the breakfast they provided was outstanding - all you could ever want and more. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much.

This is exactly what I pictured when I imagined staying in Scotland. The house is beautiful and the owners along with their two dogs could not be anymore wonderful. We also had one of our best breakfasts in Scotland.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Disblair House - the room was very comfortable with everything that we needed. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and everything delicious. Karolyn and Chris are delightful hosts - very friendly and hospitable. The lounge with open fire and honesty bar were an added bonus in the evening. We highly recommend it to anyone and would love to return.

Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels). The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!! I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…

I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs.

The breakfast choices and flavors were wonderful. More options and choices than we could even try…those we did try were all fabulous!

Our stay couldn’t have been better! Disblair House was a peaceful pocket of history, Scotland hospitality surrounded in pastoral beauty.. deer, rabbits, birds and pheasant, wildflowers and lovely old hedgerows.

Did not expect this - way exceeded our expectations. It was charming, homely, and very comfortable. Only there for a few days, but we could havd happily stayed much longer. A good base to see this of Scotland from.

Other guests gave this hotel a 10/10 review so I had high expectations. What a great experience. The room is not your typical business-like hotel room but decorated as a historic room. It was a large room with comfortable chairs and a large bed. The owners were lovely, friendly people and cooked us a great, fresh breakfast in the morning. If you are tired of boring hotels, I recommend you to visit Disblair House

Karolynn and Chris were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. We will use Disblair House again the next time we visit Aberdeen. Malcolm and June

Owners were very welcoming. Pets N/A as we didn't have any. Food at breakfast was excellent. Provisions in room for teas, etc. also excellent. Bed was clean and comfortable and the room suited us too. Absolutely no complaints and would happily stay again.
