I stayed for three nights while attending a work conference. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and my room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was on the small side, but it was perfectly adequate for my needs. Fresh towels were provided each day, which was appreciated. Breakfast was reasonable and suited me well, as I don't usually eat a large breakfast. There was a good selection available, including pastries, cooked breakfast items, cereals, yogurt, and fruit. The first night was less comfortable due to the heatwave, and my room faced the road, so it was quite warm and noisy. Although earplugs were provided, I chose not to use them. I could hear a TV from a neighbouring room and people closing doors during the night. However, the second and third nights were much quieter and I slept much better. I also ate in the hotel restaurant and found the food pleasant, with good service from the staff. Check-out was quick and efficient. Overall, despite some noise on the first night, I had a good stay and would consider staying again.

Stayed 3 nights and perfect location for visiting all of Liverpool’s historical sites. Easy to find and free parking a bonus. Staff were professional, approachable and engaging. Rooms spotless and beds so comfortable. Didn’t eat there so couldn’t comment on the food. Used the bar a couple of nights and it was great to sit in the outside area at the rear of the hotel overlooking the basin. Only criticism and it is a small one literally was the shower which was compact. Having said that you can only work with the space dimensions you have. Would still recommend it as the positives far outweigh the one negative. Will definitely book it next time we are in Liverpool.

Staff were helpful, we were able to go to reception before booking in time to register car so able to walk into town centre for lunch and drink after the journey up. Building and amenities were everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone, staff and environment could not be better. Near to Albert dock and town centre.

Excellent one night stay. It was about 25min walk from the train station. Close to my conference venue, generous breakfast with hot and cold food. The bathroom was a small plastic moulded one piece so shower was a bit on the small side, if that's important to potential guests. I would be happy to stay there again.

All the staff we interacted with were really friendly. The prices in the bar were good for a hotel and the free, easy parking was the biggest positive. A really good stay. The bathroom was tiny but didn't make our stay any worse.

Very clean rooms and communal areas. Rooms were "cozy" but everything you needed was there. Staff were so polite, helpful and very nice. Breakfast was very nice and staff were always busy replenishing and clearing, food was very fresh. Asked for hot milk for cereal and it was no problem. Parking is great, right outside the front door.

The Dolby Hotel was great value, a much better price than other places in the city, especially as the price we paid included parking and breakfast. The location was great, with tables with views overlooking the docks. The room itself was compact, but the beds were comfortable, and it was clean. The room was quite quiet, as we'd requested a room away from the road. The bathroom was tiny, like in a cabin on a boat. It wouldn't suit anyone large or anyone with mobility issues, as there was a step up, and then down, into the bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful, and decent quality. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this lovely hotel. Perfect spot for walking into the centre, literally 10 minutes. Loved the waterside location, rooms were very clean and bed was very comfy, even provided a fan for the hot weather. Staff were very helpful and friendly, added bonus was free parking, will definitely return, perfect in every way for us

Our arrival in the early evening met with 2 very friendly members of staff on reception. A quick & easy booking in procedure with all our question politely answered. Our room was clean & tidy with a beautiful view over the marina. If any criticism the double bed was small but like the shower/toilet facilities ( compact but functional) The dining area/bar was clean and tidy with a lovely view and outside seating overlooking the Marina. The food across the board was from Breakfast to evening meal well prepared, hot and a good size. Again the price for someone only wanting cereal & coffee was overpriced and could be reduced. The cooked breakfast had excellent choices and was good value for money. A special mention fir Alan the Manager. Whilst being an Everton supporter ( I am a Liverpool supporter) we had several laughs. Alan is a great character and it was obvious from talking to the staff he is greatly respected and loved by them. From Alan through yo all those members of staff we met they were always smilling happy to chat and gave us many recommendations on places to visit and see. Sadly after 3 nights at the Dolby it was time to go home Fond farewell and happy memories will stay with us. A huge thank you to Alan & all the staff. You are a credit to the Company. This hotel is perfect if all you want from a hotel is somewhere clean, convenient and friendly to stay while you visit the area or attend a conference at the nearby ACC. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate, breakfast is better than expected, free parking and genuinely friendly staff.

The rooms were clean and well equiped. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good and drinks were well priced. The price of accommodation is excellent for what you pay for it. We could not find fault with anything. Location of is really good. Close to everything. We will definitely go back. 🙂👍
