The hotel staff gives us excellent care and treatment. One day, I was sick, and they really took care of me. I felt at home, and I briefly retreated so I could enjoy my remainder of my vacation. Perfect setting. Excellent breakfast. A gym with all the equipment you need for a 24-hour workout. When you try the cookies, you completely step into another dimension.

My wife and I had a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel is strategically located for the old town, the castle is only a 15-minute steep stroll away, the grass market is a short walk away, and Haymaker Train Station is a short stroll away, where airport connections bus 100 drops off and picks up conveniently at a reasonable cost and is strongly recommended. Our room was a very spacious, clean, cozy, peaceful, and well-equipped room. We also appreciated the great view of the castle's floor in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of buffets as well as cooked breakfast to order. I wholeheartedly suggest the Scottish breakfast! The tiny plates were just right for our needs and ideal for relaxing in the evening. Not a large selection, but enough variety for three evenings. Overall, I want to emphasize how welcoming, approachable, and accommodating the staff were throughout the hotel's breakfast, check-out, bar, and room service.

A wonderful visit! Great city, great customer service, good location, I will stay here again and again. The rooms were clean and everything was very friendly and helpful. There is a lot to see in Edinburgh and this hotel exceeded my expectations!

I have a very good experience. When I booked this hotel through application, I explained that it was my husband's birthday celebration, I said about the castle and that I would travel with a 12-year-old and a 9-year-old they emailed me and promised to make something special. We parked in the nap parking lot, which was a 7-minute walk and uphill with some stairs. We were provided some cookies at the hotel reception, which really energized the children. Took or did my luggage up to the room, and I was rather disappointed because it was darkdull, and some areas were quite tatty, particularly the dresser chair that also had no mirror. Our view was a block of flats and nothing special, with all I expected was a acknowledgment maybe even at check-in but nothing because we had no castle view. We took out the roof terrace, only the twilight was looking on the rooftop. That was great and full of festive activity. The breakfast was bustling in the morning staff seemed stressed and struggling to replenish and take orders. I would not have been happy about this since it was a lengthy distance from the buffet style area. The breakfast was nice, the cookie was nice two double beds shampoo and conditioner disadvantages the view the price compared to others the dullard rooms no access to the rooftop terrace the cue for breakfast every

I highly recommend this place. Although we only stay one night in Edinburgh, I can say that the stay at the Doubletree was fantastic. The staff was kind and pleasant, the room was perfect, the location is perfect, and we had a really cool view of the castle.
