Fast and easy check-in, friendly staff, clean throughout. Bed very comfortable, excellent shower, nice toiletries. Good breakfast, lovely location.

After 11 nights of "roughing it" in 5 other hotels around Scotland, we fell in love with the Doubletree. All of the basic/important things were top notch, and there were many nice touches, including indirect lighting and an abundance of electrical outlets. The staff was terrific, with three different onsite restaurant employees helping us with a chaotic and very late room service order

Very happy with my stay. The location was brilliant for where I need to be during my business stay. Room was spacious and clean and dinner/breakfast was a very good quality and provided in a timely fashion. Views from the hotel definitely added to the stay and who doesn't want a welcome cookie! IF I had to be critical of anything, I didn't get on with the pillows provided but I appreciate we are all different!

Nice clean room. View of both road bridges from our window. Room was made up next day without having to request it. The restaurant menu had a good selection & the views were amazing. Bus stop outside for trips into Edinburgh (frequent service) or towns round about. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Heerlijk hotel op 20 minuten rijafstand van centrum Edinburgh. Ideaal gelegen als je ook de omgeving van de Lowlands en Higlands wilt bezoeken. Keurige hotelkamers en heerlijke dinaropties. Ontbijt is ruim qua keuze en beschikbaarheid. We komen zeker terug!

The whole process was seamless, Staff very pleasant, room very nice with a great view of the brigs and river, my only complaint would be the hot breakfast food it was luke warm and could have been hotter. that’s why I have deducted a star.
