STAY WELL CLEAR! DIRTY, UNSAFE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The place smelt damp the minute you walk in the door, there were marks on the sheets, the towels weren’t clean. The water out of the tap was black. Even the bathroom light was hanging from the ceiling. The room looked like it hadn’t seen a Hoover since the 80’s. There was just grime in every corner. The blind didn’t open. When we went to the front desk they didn’t offer an alternative or even to move us rooms. They just said email for a refund. Which I have I’ve gone through Expedia themselves and the hotel has refused to issue a refund. I’m looking into reporting the hotel to environmental health as I believe this is completely unsafe for people to stay. BLACK WATER! MOLD! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

Totally disgusted. I booked a 3 night stay at the Dream Hotel in Salfords, but disappointed is not even a strong enough word to describe how angry I was. On the website, you have these lovely pictures of this nice hotel and nice reviews but when I got there I literally felt sick to my stomach. I wished I turned around,walked away and never checked in. The building didn’t even look like a hotel, looked more like a cheap brothel. The reception was a little desk with a guy behind it. There was an overbearing smell. The bedroom was dirty, the bedding and pillow cases looked like they had seen better days. Damp marks on the wall and the handle on the window was broken. There was bare electrical wires on the wall. The bedroom smelled like a wet dog had been sleeping in it just before I arrived. And to top it all there was expired milk on the tray. We cut our stay very short after just one night and there was no one we could speak to at the reception in the morning. Would not recommend.
