My wife and I just got back from a threenight golf vacation in what was a small gem, surrounded by lovely surroundings and served by excellent employees and considerate and caring employees. Mike, the worldfamous, experienced pro and assistant, was a pleasure to chat with, and nothing was too much trouble. The course, while being employed on a seasonal basis, was still enjoyable and will be more so with time. Testimental, beautiful, difficult, and tranquil with no pretentious, it was enjoyable to play. The lodgehotel is simple and spotless and does it with a delicious breakfast and evening options, in lovely surroundings, and the most courteous employees and management. Thank you again from Linda and Chris i, Dover, Kent.

I had a 2 day golf vacation with 31 friends. We took over the entire hotel. The staff was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Golf course is very challenging, no 2 holes alike and set in a beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend, unbelievable value for money.

I recently got back from an amazing women's golf group overnight stay at Farthingstone. Very reasonable price. The golf course is so varied, peaceful, and offers a beautiful view. The hotel is clean and well-run. The food is excellent. The staff was very helpful prior and during our visit.

The food is good and the price is worth it. There's a golf course layout that's challenging at times but a good experience if you can follow the course's layout. The location is very peaceful and has a view of the surrounding countryside.

My wife and I recently reserved a weekend night play and stay retreat. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at the golf course and hotel on Sunday and Monday. As a portion of the deal, we received a wonderful three-course evening meal with wine, a substantial full breakfast, and a very cozy room at this wonderful hotel. The entire deal cost just under 100 per person and was well worth it. Everyone on staff, whether at the golf course or the hotel, went above and beyond to ensure our enjoyment of our stay. It would be ridiculous to isolate anyone because they were all so pleasant and helpful, but my wife would like me to mention the chef, whose personal attention to making sure her food choices were fulfilled and exceeded, both put us both by surprise. We will most certainly return to this location because it is a treasure.
