Overall, this hotel should be closed and completely renovated. On arrival the main entrance was being made by concrete so we had to enter through the back door where we passed discarded refrigerators and other tools. You come into a dim, dark hallway, I truly believed they had a power cut because it was so dim that only small emergency type lights were on. The walls were black and stained, and the carpet pattern was unrecognizable. The reception was basically a desk, and the security guard they had posted here was either asleep or playing games on his phone one night, with used alcohol containers next to him unsure if it was theirs. The room was very large, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was recently renovated. Thats where the positives stop. The furniture in the room was very old and the sofa appeared to be walking out of the room! Very dirty and clean. There is no aircorn or natural air flow in the room, even opening the window provided little relief from the heat wave we experienced. I paid roughly 450 for 5 nights here, and if I had the option of another accommodation, I would have taken it. To be honest, I would have spent 150200 for this stay at a push. Overall, this hotel should not be open or open for return.

Was all very good bar the bed which was hard as a rock! I slept on the pull out sofa on the last night of 4 and was shocked at the state of the mattress. I didn’t sleep well on that bed either although I didn’t expect it to be as comfy as the main bed. When I went to have breakfast on the last morning - I hadn’t booked - I was told that if there was room I could have a meal but as the hotel was full it might not be possible. I ate elsewhere.

A perfect stay. Excellent Reception, perfect location, plenty of parking, large well furnished room, spacious newly furbished bathroom, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, free wifi, lovely breakfast: full English cooked to order and Continental.

its surroundings were really nice, close to Lakeside pub/food, a sauna /gym/pool 2 min walk from hotel, Rooms very tidy and clean, plenty big enough for a family, car parking is easy even a recharge point for 2 electric cars, close to the main road, i had an excellent 3 night stay
