It was exactly what it said. We had a choice of 3 shared bathrooms. The window in the room you could open fully which was a nice bonus. Reception guy was very friendly. Ideal for a 1 night stay. We left at around 4.45 am so weren't bothered about no breakfast being available.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was not super clean, but not so that it warrants complaint The room was very hot, but considering the cost the hotel was exactly as you would expect. It’s not the Savoy as is reflected in the price of the rooms. As for some where to stay one night with the family visiting London it was very acceptable

When reading the reviews I had low expectations so wasn’t disappointed. It’s a cheap hotel so not luxurious but great for a nights stay. Shower was a bit cold and didn’t drain well.

When I arrived there was a bit of confusion about payment - I was asked to pay for my room and the staff at check-in didn't initially believe me when I said I had paid through Hotels.com already, so I showed them where the money had gone out of my bank account. Once that was out of the way the room was absolutely fine for the price. We stayed in one of the basement rooms so it was a bit less inviting than the pictures of the upstairs rooms, but at £47 was a bargain given how close the hotel is to Kings Cross and sights like the British Museum. It even had bottles of water and a kettle, which I wasn't expecting at that price.

We booked a room that had a shared bath and there was no toilet in the bathroom. Also, each room has a furnace, but our furnace did not work so we had to sleep with our jackets on. When we departed, no one was at the office to give us our deposit back that we had to put down for our key. It took us 10 minutes to figure out how to reach someone because the phone number listed on. Their website is incorrect.

One night only and with an early start there was no need for mod cons. The kind of place that might not cost you a lot but you won't get anything other than somewhere to sleep.

There was no lift and my room was at the top of the building. The manager helped bring up my luggage. It was hot and no fan was available. The room was fine, neat and clean but some mechanical noise went off every 30 seconds.

Tiny room, but fairly well lit. The floor was so uneven, felt drunk before my first pint. Their description doesn't make it at all clear that it is shared bathrooms. My shared bathroom had no cold running water.

Pour une nuit ça fait l'affaire... Mais ancien, petite chambre, sanitaire et douche à revoir... Puis les déchets dans l'entrée ne donne pas envie. Je n'y retournerais pas.

We rented two double rooms for two couples, but we are disappointed because we chose the services of this "hotel"! Small rooms, dirty windows, water on the floor in the bathroom and in the morning from 6:00 very cold, they turned off the boiler! At the end we asked him to keep our luggage until 19:00 when we have the train home, it was small hand luggage. However, he only accepted for a fee, for the amount of £ 20 exactly as much as it costs at the train station, for luggage storage. Very high costs for what this hotel offers, costs like a 3 star hotel where there are acceptable conditions. This hotel is 2 stars but from our point of view it is only worth one star. :(
