The griffin is conveniently situated near Newquay for sightseeing and beaches. We stayed here for a night out with friends before attending a show the following day. It can be difficult to park at the Griffin as it is shared with the restaurant, but we were able to park two vehicles rather quickly and check-in was simple and welcoming. Our rooms were fully furnished, with rooms at the rear with a sea view. The beds were the only negative thing about this! The mattresses were horrible, dipped and sagging, causing me a poor nights sleep. Having said that, if they resolved this simple problem, I would still look to stay here again. We had breakfast, which was delicious, had a good selection, and received excellent service. Great value for money.

We would certainly stay here again if we ever return. My spouse and I remained here for four nights, and these are the biggest drawbacks and drawbacks we found. Excellent parking check-in went smoothly and efficiently. The room was comfortable but a little outdated, it could have used an up-to-date technology that allowed you to record your own shows, but it had great freebies signals and channels, the bed was cozy, and the room was warm enough, the shower was fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent as was the main menu. There were a few real ales on tap, and we spent a few hours in the bar each evening. Our stay coincided with it plans day cornish saint, and the hotel had a shanty band. They were excellent, but since the bar was full, maybe they should have used mics and an amplifier, as the back sound was almost non-existent.

The staff here was really helpful. The room was very clean, the bed linen was fresh, and the bathroom has good amenities. We booked it in advance, and the waiter was very friendly and always wanted to make your stay so memorable. The steak penne and wine are delicious, they cooked the steak exactly to your taste, and we ordered it with salad and pepper sauce, the price was a lot cheaper, they served a dessert, plus they served a dessert. We stayed here for the night and it includes breakfast.

A great breakfast is served in the morning. It's a comfortable and clean room. a bit worried about the noise that will be heard above the pub but there is absolutely no noise at all! Parking is a first come, first served, so we were lucky because it's a bank holiday weekend, so that's to be expected. I will stay here again when I visit Newquay.

I enjoyed my stay at the Griffin Inn Newquay. I want to express my gratitude to everybody, especially Kat, for making our visit a lovely getaway. The cuisine and drink at the inn were excellent, and the entire inn was inviting. If you plan to remain in Newquay or the surrounding area, I'd suggest staying at the inn.
