I loved staying at Hazlitt's! It's really in the center of things, yet provides a lush and cozy sanctuary. Americans should note that it's a very old building, so there might be peeling paint and uneven floors (although others may find that super charming!). There was an issue with the cistern of my toilet, but the hotel immediately sent up a facilities person who dealt with everything quickly and apologetically - exactly the kind of service you'd hope for. The staff were beyond helpful and the breakfast was one of the most pleasurable moments of my life. Would 100% visit again.

Gorgeous period property , very well looked after, decor fabulous. Breakfast and tea trays brought to room, excellent quality. Bed very comfortable, great pillows and big soft towels, bath robes supplied, lovely toiletries. Located near to many Theatres, loads of cafes, restaurants, bars. We dined at Doppo Dean Street, would recommend. Also Love Jackie restaurant downstairs. Our room was at the front and the street can be noisy into the night, didn’t bother us too much.Good shopping not far away either

The staff was excellent. They brought my bags to my room and escorted me there when my room was ready. There is no elevator and my room was on the top floor. The hotel is definitely quirky. The lobby had a beautiful real christmas tree and there were a few different sitting rooms throughout the ground level all decorated. I had a single room and the bed was super comfortable. I had plenty of room. There was a robe and a mini bar. The toilet was an actual wood throne. The location was excellent, a few blocks from the Elizabeth line. Hazlitt’s was a quiet, welcoming hotel right around the corner from the busy streets of the city. We walked everywhere and were glad to return to our hideaway at Hazlitt’s. Our room was very large, well appointed and really quiet! We loved the in room breakfast each day. All staff were attentive and welcoming! Highly recommend!
