We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The only negative was that the bathroom seemed dated. The family really enjoyed the breakfast and the girls loved the hot chocolate. I thought it was closer to the city but it wasn't which was not the hotel's fault. There is a bus into the city which is about 10-15 mins walk.

My mother and I checked in very late at night, and both members of staff were exceptionally helpful, checking us in, helping with food, and made everything very easy. Breakfast was well presented, tasty, and everything was clean. We will return!

Very convenient hotel. Staff always really happy and helpful. Comfortable rooms with nice buffet breakfast and hot drink machine available 24 hours per day. I ternet always works lovely hot powerful shower.

Great check in,very friendly staff,they had a good rapport with my grandson,the room had everything you needed, the complimentary tea,coffee and bathroom essentials were of the highest quality, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was included and had illy cooked, yogurt, cereal ext, only down side is the distance from York so is you don’t have transportation you have to use a taxi £10 each way.There is a Toby carvery next door for an evening meal or drink

Great hotel .Staff always friendly and helpful. I always need extra pillows and they are then when we arrive. Good breakfast selection buffet style suits my husband and my different likes. Great hot drinks machine available 24 hours per day. Only problem is the shower is fantastic. Great force and hot but they use inadequate shower curtains (solid doors would be much better) and as such the flo0r was drenched wetting all my clothes as no where to hang the clothes.

We were greeted by lovely staff and provided with useful information about park and rides/travel and local areas. Room was clean and nice! Breakfast was included and parking was free! Had a great stay!
