We stayed in room 121. Good things, big comfortable bed, shower, good toiletries, quiet. Hard floor, no icky carpet. Yet it's amazing how badly some hotels can get it. We spent a long time trying to figure out the room light controls. This is not unusual. Many hotels pride themselves on making the light switches complicated. Amino takes this to a new level. We could not figure out how to turn off the ambient lighting around the head of the bed. I got up and got dressed without a room phone to call the desk and found night manager. He came to the room and was also unable to turn off the lights. He suggested that if he came back with a ladder, he might be able to fix it. In the end, we pulled the card out of the slot, had no lighting or ac all night, and checked out early with great relief. Avoid this place

We had dinner at Penelope restaurant at the amino hotel. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and had a good time. The manager also came and spoke to us and was very friendly and charming. Excellent location as well.

When you walk in, the hotel is lovely and smells excellent. It's a great hotel, and the reception staff is excellent. Unfortunately, you couldn't swing a cat in our room. You couldn't use the restroom with very little privacy, there was no room to hang your towel when showering or washing your hands, there was no place to hang a shampoo, conditioner, make a cup of tea, and leave your suitcase without falling over it. This could be easily resolved with a few hooks to hang towels, and perhaps an extra small table to place kettlecups.
