Great welcome from start to finish. The staff were well trained and were very helpful. Room was comfortable and perfectly clean. Food and drinks were of good quality and presented well. Couldn’t fault anything.

Hotel had changed to an AC Marriott and undergone renovation - family room was large (2 doubles and a single sofa bed) and in immaculate condition. Whole place looked clean and modern. Bar was a bit overwhelmed by the number of gamers staying the whole weekend (could do with some soft drinks on pump instead of cans) but bar staff were very good. Really grateful to the team for arranging to return some shirts we accidentally left in the room too, a very kind gesture!

We had a great stay here on a busy weekend with lots of guests because of an event at the NEC! Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, our room was wonderful and we were very thankful for the AC! Great location for walking to the NEC, and very quiet away from the main thoroughfare

Lovely clean hotel conveniently located for the NEC and train station. Large firm bed. Comfy pillows. Air conditioning was great. Ironing board in room. Generally peaceful stay- only downside was some doors weren't soft closing.

The kitchen staff were amazing (big shout out to Tracey and Yasmin, who brightened my morning every day). The hotel was undergoing a refurbishment so the restaurant area was not great, although I can see that the refurb team have done their best to prevent any impact on hotel guests. My room was on the top floor, so was quite removed from the noise. It is the staff who make this hotel, everyone was so friendly and kind. The food was ok, the 24hr menu is quite poor (only a few dishes available) but I assume this is a logistics issue. Small issues that could be better - the family room I was allocated was nothing like the photos. It was quite poor, considering the cost per night (and I had paid for a family room to get specific amenities). There was no full length mirror (just a waist high one in the bathroom), there was no desk or chair to work at (just a rickety small round table, barely big enough for a plate) and the door stop on the floor had been damaged / removed at some point, leaving a 2-inch tall thin cylinder sticking out the floor. As my suitcase was in that location behind the door, I didn't realise this until I stood on it with bare feet, on the morning I was due to leave! Overall, this hotel is superbly convenient for the train station, for the NEC, for the airport and local access roads. I would definitely stay here again, although I would not pay so much for a superior room next time, given that it was basically the same as a standard room.

Everything went smoothly and really comfortable even our silly o'clock check in eas no problem. Only issue was no one told us the hotel was midway through a refit . Stayed a few time before and will definitely stay again. Thank you .

The hotel is getting a refurbishment to a high standard. Friendly staff who go up and above for you. Room very modern and beds so comfortable had a good nights sleep. Definitely recommend as close to train and airport only few minutes walk away. Definitely will be back.

Amazing hotel, cleanliness is paramount. Room exceptional apart from a couple of loose tiles in the bathroom. Lovely food, breakfast was perfect. Thank you to the lovely restraunt staff, Tracey you are so helpful and friendly. The hotel is perfect location for, NEC, Resorts World, BP Pulse live, Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International train station. We booked when it was a Ibis hotel. It has now been taken over Marriott Hotels. Hopefully Marriott will keep the price good.

The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment so it was not up to standard. However, the staff were brilliant and the room lovely and comfortable. Once in there you would have not have known about the renovations and there was no noise. Most importantly, I had a good night rest and the shower was great. I also appreciated having an ironing board and iron in the room as those things are always overlooked in hotels these days.
