This was a stay mainly to see the area not to use the facilities but the gym looked good . I wanted to use the pool one evening but it was closed at 6 when i went so beware of that . Food was great and good value . Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Excellent room for wheelchair users which my wife is . Brilliant wet room and excellent all round . Parking good also .

Overall very enjoyable stay. Pros: good size rooms and restaurant Easy on site parking Helpful staff Comfortable beds Cons: Don’t think hotel guests should have to pay to use the spa facilities £30pp for 2 hours to sit in a hot tub. Open bathrooms - leave's little to no privacy which doesn’t suit all. Just box off bathroom area.

Very unique location and in such a tranquil spot. Staff exceptionally helpful & welcoming. Room excellent. Bed very very comfortable and room had everything we needed. Used the Wave Spa facilities - excellent. Spotlessly clean & well maintained. Ate and drank in Zephyrs bar/restaurant - good choice of food & very generous portions and for a hotel very reasonably priced. For peace and tranquility would highly recommend a stay.

Exceptionally clean room, beautiful views. Spa was very relaxing - could do with a cold water/salt water pool, especially in this heat. Perfect weekend with my partner who is now my fiancé ❤️

All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! Since the pandemic there has been a proliferation of dog friendly places!

The staff was amazing special thanks to Cara. The spa was not to my taste so did not take use of this as not a pool you could swim in… Lovely pub 10 min away (the cross inn )

The Staff were amazing. We had the best omelette made by the chef. I still have a lingering taste of the omelette. The Manager was very good and helpful and the staff too. We were unable to go to the spa, timing did not work for us. Rooms were clean except for one day, when we got a smell of cigarette smoke, and the hotel could not figure out where it was coming from as it affected a few rooms. Overall a great hotel and super food

The overall experience of the hotel was excellent. All areas were very clean, it appeared recently refurbished throughout and all the staff were more than friendly and helpful. The food was also of a very high standard, good quality ingredients (apart from the bread at breakfast which could be improved) We normally eat dinner out but really enjoyed three evening meals in the hotel.

The restaurant was the best hotel food I’ve ever had. Would return solely for that.
