Very nice stay at The Lamb again. Very helpful and polite staff. Nice and clean, although some area's/furniture could do with a dusting.

We had a room in what was called "The Stables "it was a good size with a nice modern bathroom, there was a kettle and tea, coffee, milk etc .Room was very clean .There was also a fan to use due to the very hot weather. It is situated very well ,not far to walk to shops , cathedral, plenty of bars ,coffee shops etc Very quick check in ,plenty of staff all that were very helpful and friendly. Ate in the restaurant in the evening ,food was fine and had breakfast the next morning which was good

Very helpful and polite staff. Went above and beyond during my stay. There was one fan in the room and two windows, one of which did not open all the way. Difficult to sleep during the heatwave as a result. Plus the corridors on the way to the room were quite hot and stuffy. The windows were all either partially or fully open along the way so I guess it could have been worse. Bed was comfy. I stayed in the deluxe room, which was huge, with a nice comfy couch and a sprawling bathroom. Wifi was great. Solid breakfast options and a nice bar in the lobby. Checkout was smooth as butter. Hotel was very centrally located in Ely, less than 5 mins walk from the Minster and a 15 min walk to the train station. Would definitely stay again. Just perhaps not during a heatwave.

Stayed the night as we went to a concert at Ely Cathedral, I have just had a major operation and when we got back to the hotel my leg had swollen badly. I asked if they could supply me with some ice wrapped in a towel to cool my knee, within seconds I received a large bag of ice wrapped in a towel for me to take to our room so I could this on my wound. So impressed, no bother what so ever. Our evening meal was lovely, cooked to perfection, bed was comfortable too.

Location was excellent, very close to the Cathedral which is beautiful and just a short walk to the riverside for a beautiful walk along the river. All the staff were extremely friendly. The Manager was so helpful and we couldn't fault the other staff who were welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal which was delicious and the breakfast was lovely with so much choice. The room was basic but had everything you needed. It was clean and comfortable.

We have a 12 week old Baby so were worried about how well we and he would travel! But The Lamb were perfect and accomodated us really well. The staff were all really kind and considerate and made us feel welcome and comfortable

Very clean and comfortable . Noisy metal plate on road outside clinked every time a car went over it but not a lot the hotel can do about that. Staff very pleasant right from check in to evening meal. Great location for shops and cathedral

Finding the car park was tricky to be honest - but I parked up elsewhere, walked to the hotel and asked the staff, so got sorted in the end.

Had a great stay. Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay. Staff were lovely, very attentive, couldn’t have done anything more! Very good meal in the restaurant, again great service! Tasty breakfast - great again! Stayed in a suite - comfortable bed, slept well. Room a good size. Was very clean. Overall a fantastic experience - can’t wait to return! Room 11, 20 - 21 February.
