I had booked 12 months in advance during Covid. The hotel advised just room provided with access, there is no restaurant or breakfast. The hotel is set up for functions. Tea and coffee was available by phoning reception and was complementary. Clean comfortable room. Staff supportive & friendly

Its a long tale. We were invited to a wedding in port sunshine two and a half years ago. Of course we were there and booked the leverhulme which looked fantastic the sister hotel of hallmark, also on viral. Needless to say, the world changed at that time, and we cancelled, reconnected, and they cancelled a cod issue of course. In total I believe we rearranged five times, and finally made it. The hotel is the old hospital of Port Light, but it has been amazingly well renovated. The layout is fantastic and the facilities are excellent, including the ballroom. We were put in good hands because we were almost the only guests part of the bride and groomsmaids. Cherry greeted us warmly and brought us to our suite in the coach house, which has been interestingly designed in an art deco style. John showed us where to park the car. He was there for us in the evening at the bar before supper in the river room. A menu was prepared for us and, indeed, it was adequate even if there were fewer choices. The cooking and presentation were excellent and the chef Emily came out and we enjoyed an exciting conversation! Toms catch phrase thank you very much was very welcomed! Our second postwedding meal was presented by jake and cooked again by Emily. We cant thank everyone enough for their attention in such unusual circumstances

In October 2021, my partner and some of his family and I attended a wedding party here. Everything was beautiful, the building is gorgeous, and everyone had a good time. The bar staff were excellent. The only drawback was that it had been nice to have the option to reserve a room to remain over but the rooms were not available at the time, I'm not sure if this has now changed. We had to stay at the nearest motel down the street!.

I had my wedding heard on the 60921. What can I say, my day was perfect from start to finish, staff worked hard all day, nothing to much trouble, food was lovely and friendly, the location was great if you want a perfect venue this is the place.

A delightful hotel in the middle of Port Sunlight Arts and Crafts model village. Staff very helpful and attentive, upgraded room, great breakfast. Perhaps could do with a bit of tlc on the decor front? Would definitely go again when we see family in the area.

Having booked this hotel for a close friends wedding we was expecting a special weekend in a special hotel. Unfortunately this was not the case. The room we was staying in was a luxury double room. The layout of the room was fantastic! However, a known fault to the hotel with the boiler cause our room to have no hot water, the shower head was off the wall , wifi issues, decor falling apart and list of items expected in the room was non exsiting. The staff where made aware the issues and offered to put us in another room, again the rooms need ALOT OF Work. If this was looked into then it would be worth the stay. Breakfast was really nice, however there was no option of continental breakfast as stated by the hotel. I was also quoted £29 PP each day prior to my visit. This was astonishing. Very very disappointed with the visit, doubt i will return to the hotel. However the staff & service was 5 Star.
