Very enjoyable experience during our stay at the Lundel Guest House. Arrived early and was quickly shown to a very comfortable room. The proprietor was very efficient and friendly. The town centre is just 1.3 miles away by regular bus. Breakfast was great, and no problems with the service. Thank you for a great stay. Please don't judge a book by its cover. Inside doesn't deserve praise.

I will not return to this property. Fortunately, we only stayed one night here. The two guesthouses next to one another, lina and Lonsdale, are the first things to notice. Our home is Lonsdale, which has lines that appear to be in much better shape than lonsdale. We received a marionette suite on the ground floor. Although there is no elevator and a person on crutches, we were not given a more appropriate spot to stay. The room was inexpensively furnished, most of the time showing signs of do. We would endure the dreadful pipe noise every time one of the two adjacent rooms used the restroom. The cheapest spring mattress on the market, making for a very unpleasant night's sleep. Breakfast was once more inexpensive, and no hot food in the continental market.

Our room was in front overlooking the street. It was spacious. The ensure didn't have a mirror so shaving was difficult. The shower was hot but not powerful. Breakfast is served 2 houses down the road in an overcrowded layout. It's basic continental it is quite a struggle to get plates, bowls, and spoons. Poached eggs were on offer. Don't believe the pictures on the website for rooms or food.

This guesthouse is very suitable for students studying at the exert house unit of the Oxford Department for continuing education. There is some parking on site. And some on the side street. The bedroom was basic but everything you needed. Some of the rooms are secure or have a shared bathroom next door. Single and double occupancy are available.
