Good stay overall. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean and in a great location. The building is a little old, but well maintained. The only downside was no AC during a heat wave, and the small fan wasn’t enough.”

We were in London during the recent heatwave and the staff did everything they could to help us be comfortable and happy - ice and cold water in the lobby, fans and open windows for every room, and smiles and kind suggestions for places to go to stay cool. The location is excellent - very close to both Paddington station and Kensington Gardens. The bed was comfortable and the full breakfast was tasty and made to order. If my travels bring me back to London, I would stay here again!

We had a family “suite” and it was so nice to have some space so we weren’t on top of each other. The fan kept us cool during the heat wave and the bar area was very comfortable. Excellent location- Paddington Station is only a 5 minute walk.

First trip to London, and I’ll definitely be back here when I come back, the location was perfect, so close to Hyde park and Paddington station. Staff was lovely, friendly and the breakfast was great! If you’ve never travelled to the UL before just keep in mind they are small rooms, but they’re great place to get sorted

Gute Lage in der Nähe von Paddington, sauberes Zimmer und freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Das englische Frühstück war sehr lecker. Falls wir wieder in London sind, werden wir erneut das Hotel buchen. Top für Städtetrip!

Room was clean but Incredibly hot. (We were there for a hot spell, but it was stiffling hot in our corner room.) Front desk and staff were VERY helpful and accommodating. Location was INCREDIBLE! Paddington station was about a 7 minute walk and it was convenient to all trains. We walked all over London and this was an easy location. Lots of pubs, different ethnic restaurants and stores in the immediate area. Breakfast was acceptable-several options. Might stay here again in the cooler months since they don't have any air conditioning. Otherwise a lovely place! Can't beat the convenience!

Location was excellent for Hyde park and Paddington station. The room had a fan which we appreciated because of the high temperatures. Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice.

The property was centrally located. Although it is lacking of air conditioning, it was compensated by the friendliness and the care given to me and my group by Elena and all the staff at Mitre House. They are all very nice and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Elena!!

The hotel is so well located in close proximity to many fine restaurants and taverns. Super convenient to the tube and train as well. Loved the bar associated with the reception area and the breakfast - fantastic!
