Pleasant traditional Highland Hotel. Friendly and efficient check in. Bar well stocked with pleasant adjoining lounge. The venison dinner special was excellent. A good stopping point on way north .

Charming and stylish old hotel. Yes, the rooms might need some updating, but it is still well maintained and clean. My second time visiting in 8 months from Canada. Very large rooms and bed (even by North American standards), very friendly/Scottish staff :) Big dining room, bar and separate lounge next to the bar with sofas. Very large parking. A bit pricy, but not different from other establishments in UK it seems (knowing how much electricity cost there... that alone is a reason). I am a light sleeper, so, I appreciated how quiet it is there. Would definitely go back anytime.

Extremely friendly staff but arrived during their staff party so kitchens were closed but did have advanced warning so not a problem. Hotel was warm and welcoming. Food was good and the portion sizes were well above average. Would definitely stay there again.

When visiting Crieff I want you to RUN to Merlindale and get a room and live it up in style! We were on our way through to the Innerpeffery Library ( a MUST see) and booked a room at Merlindale after a 16 day, 14 hotel/inn trail of places we stayed and far and away this was THE BEST for many, many reasons. Classy, quiet, thoughtful beyond worlds and to top it off, super comfortable bed and FABULOUS breakfast in a quaint and cheery top notch breakfast room. Start the car and get to the airport.

Hotel vieille Angleterre dans la plus pure tradition. Accueil chaleureux, staff agréable tant à l'accueil qu'au bar. Seul bémol, la vue de la chambre sur les poubelles. Quoi que la Reine soit passée par là, je doute qu'elle ait eu la même vue. Je conseille fortement et ce serait un plaisir que d'y retourner.

This hotel is a must stay. This hotel has a stunning old-fashioned decor. The rooms are spacious and nicely presented. They have everything you need. The staff is very pleasant and do everything they can to help you. The food is absolutely amazing. I suggest staying here if you are taking a train. We will definitely return. This place was nice in it's heyday but it has a very old decor and needs some updating. The decor is 80s and 90s. Our room was good sized but not too nice, the floor was very sticky! The bed was very uncomfortable too. Having said that, the food was of very high quality. Also the service was good.
