My second visit to Peebles Hydro. Lovely grounds surrounding Hydro. It is comfortable and clean. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast, but make sure you go early as things were running out. Altogether a lovely stay. Will be back. Thanks.

Very posh hotel. We loved our stay. We would love to come back for a longer stay and explore the activities which were available. Due to our short stay we could not explore them. Staff were very nice and cordial. There’s lot of parking spaces available. Breakfast was just perfect.

Although late arriving we received a warm & efficient welcome. Our room (family for 3 people) was immaculate and we greeted the day with stunning views and a fabulous breakfast .. After a day in Edinburgh (50 minute drive) we returned to use the pool, sauna & steam room, before a quick change and dinner in Millers bar - food was great & staff were very friendly and helpful. Every single member of staff were smiling, professional and keen to help making for a very relaxing break.. Thank you - we will be back …

Excellent experience at Peebles Hydro. The customer service is amazing and the staff so very helpful and friendly. The hotel is old but is very clean and the rooms were very comfortable and food very good. Excellent spa. Thank you.

What a fabulous hotel! We chose Peebles as it was about halfway back home to Wales for us, and after 9 days of hiking - a spa hotel sounded perfect! The fact that such a swanky place is also dog friendly (and TRULY dog friendly) made it even better. The staff were all cheerful, helpful and friendly. My husband used the gym facilities and I treated myself to a massage, which was quite honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I also purchased gifts from the on site gin distillery for our house sitter. Peebles was much more picturesque than I was expecting and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days there.

Hotel is lovely and is in a great location. Food was excellent and the alcohol reasonably priced. Rooms are so spacious and beds really comfy. The only fault I would have is that the hotel is needing some TLC but I will definitely return

I stayed for 4 nights for work. I booked a small room as I only get a small work allowance. I was upgraded to a larger room on arrival, which I appreciated! The room was very clean, tidy and I had a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. All members of staff I spoke to were very friendly. The receptionist offered to make up a continental breakfast for me to takeaway, as I had to leave relatively soon after breakfast started for work. This was a lovely gesture and there was plenty of items included! I had time for breakfast on my last day and it was absolutely delicious. I wish I could have had that every morning, but work unfortunately comes first. A very good selection of hot and cold food to choose from. The gym had an excellent range of equipment. The gym, pool area and changing facilities were very clean. The pool was very warm. I only used the sauna, even though there is a jacuzzi and steam room, and it was excellent. The parking area in front of the hotel was a little congested at times, but there is a small car park to the right hand side of the building (if looking at the building). A small room for improvement, would be to signpost the lift to the left side of the entrance. Unless I have missed it. No problem for me, just for anyone with mobility issues, even though the main staircase was amazing. Or perhaps advise location on a email, if not already done. I would definitely recommend, it was great value for money and I would stay again.
