I'm very happy with the service and hospitality from all the staff. I like all the staff very much. The room was clean and the air conditioning was great. The location is also great. The food that they served here was very good.

I actually prefer this place to the novel next door. Although this is an older premier inn, the restrooms in particular need renovation. However, I slept soundly, and that is what you would expect from a premier inn. On night one, my other issue was a clogged shower, which I complained about in the morning, and was resolved by the time I returned that afternoon. Yet, it was still horribly, I don't like standing in a flooded drain. The lack of dirty, dusty remote control, the couple of stray hairs in the shower and on the bed made it apparent to housekeeping's speedy room turnaround, I'm sure. However, they should hire a team to clean them off. It was nevertheless tidy overall. One person in front of me checked extremely slowly, and it took 1015 minutes before I was served. Because there were no ironing boards in the rooms, I had to acquire one from reception and carry it up. It was a minor inconvenience, but annoying. I didn't have breakfast, but it seemed good value. Overall, it's a good value offering because one knows what to expect at a premier inn, and it's not far behind some of the more expensive offerings in the neighborhood.

In Edinburgh, we spent a wonderful few days staying at the premier inn, Lauriceston Place. The room was on the ninth floor with a lovely outlook. We slept soundly for a good night's sleep. We were out and about and had a great time.

Overall very satisfied. We stayed for two nights. When we arrived, the check-in staff was excellent, and the spacious rooms had everything you could possibly need. The AC in the room was nice and cool, and the beds are very comfy. The location is in the city center and very quiet, so there is no street noise. Breakfast was varied and very varied. The staff was wonderful.

Our room was clean. There was a soccer match going on during the night of our first stay and it did get a bit noisy out on the street outside our room until about 1:00 AM. Other than that it was a good place to stay and within a short distance to Edinburgh castle and the Royal mile.

Some staff were not so friendly. The beds were not the best and this room was more expensive than the nice place we stayed in Glasgow and Ireland. Not the best room and if paying the money may want to look at others in the same area first.

This hotel appeared to be understaffed. Too few people doing multitasking especially at breakfast. I rarely saw any cleaning staff. I found the frequent random bumping noises possibly from doors closing, very disruptive to sleep. The location was quiet and a short walking distance to central Old town. The building itself is charmless and utilitarian. I felt this hotel cost too much for what you got.
