The property was better than expected for a budget hotel. We will definitely consider Premier the next time we are in Scotland.

breakfast was good. room was small but clean and had hot water kettle and nescafe. staff was nice and always willing to sort out any small problems we had like needing iced water, using restroom in the cafe area after hours while the kid was using the restroom in our room. the room has AC. location was good too. royal mile as well as milkman was within 8 minute walking. the stay was comfortable.

Great location next to the train station. A very short walk from the Royal Mile and many attractions. Clean rooms with plenty of space.

We liked the location of the hotel we were one block from Royal Mile and we walked to Holyrood Palace took 12 min. We did not eat at the hotel but their menu was large. There was a Costa Coffee next door. Two things we did not like was the check in is an automated system so nobody to greet you! However there is a call button for a front desk person to help you check in and out or ask questions about the area. The second thing was they have 3 elevators but we could only get one to work and after talking to other guest they had same issue.

Adding the breakfast buffet at time of booking was the best deal in Scotland. Once we figured out that the key card had to be inserted for the lights to work, the switches had to be turned on for the outlets to work, and that the thermostat turned off after exiting the room, everything was free-flowing.

Although we were early they were able to hold our bags. This is a wonderful bonus. Hotel is pretty basic but we knew this when booking.

Great location near the Waverley train station, Princes Street, and Royal Mile. Property is quiet, very clean. Staff is wonderful and very hard-working- breakfast ( and dinner) was great- a good start in the morning and a welcome evening meal if you are tired after walking all over!
