Loved it. Big bed, nice room, 5 minute walk to the market. Saw staff once, really friendly. Great shower. The place is a little run down but not that noticeable.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn Stockport. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and the location was very convenient. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. A special thank you to Sheri, who was extremely kind, supportive, and helpful. She made the experience even better with her positive attitude and great customer service. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

We stayed two nights in early June ‘26. The rooms left much to be desired. They were worn out and dated. The bathroom definitely needs updating- dirty with peeling paint and the toilet would not flush on our last morning. Not much fun. There is no AC, so windows are open in every room making for a lot of noise from the parking lot and jets heading into MAN Airport (right in the flight path). Close the window and the room somehow gets extremely hot. Even with the windows open the room had a strange smell of a strong cleaner, but it was still rather dirty. The hotel itself is very noisy and you can hear conversations in the next room,so keep your voice down if talking and you don’t want to be heard. Any movement from rooms upstairs sounds like cattle walking up there. The bed was not a quality mattress, even though they have literature in the room trying to sell you that brand of mattress. Very strange. The restaurant was closed for renovation when we were there (no notice from the hotel), so check before you stay (please, don’t stay) or plan on breakfast at one of the lovely cafes in town. You can definitely find better accommodation anywhere. We do not recommend the Premier Inn Stockport Central. Not of even 3-star quality. Sorry, we were really hoping for better.
