This place is recommended for solo travelers or with friends. Its a great place for the price we paid. The only downside is that there is no elevator upstairs, so you have to carry your luggage.

Pengalaman pertama saya di hostel dan sangat menarik, dengan bahasa Inggris yang sangat buruk saya dapat berkomunikasi dengan staf, kamar dengan 18 tempat tidur tetapi itu tidak seburuk yang saya bayangkan, itu sepadan dengan harganya. Uang karena lokasinya sangat bagus di London, dekat dengan Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Museum Perang Internasional dan tempat lainnya. Ada sebuah pub populer di lantai dasar. Pengalaman menginapnya luar biasa, saya memiliki teman dari seluruh dunia, saya bertemu orang Brasil lainnya.

Its situated in a central and peaceful area near the city center. The rooms are neat and clean. Some of the bunk beds in the rooms are old and may make you uncomfortable while sleeping. If sharing a room with unfamiliar people doesnt bother you, you wont have any other problems. The staff are friendly and helpful.

First time sleeping in a place like this. Came here with 2 friends for 4 nights. The room was good and the shower was fine. We didnt speed up much in the pub and only ate on the last day. Fresh fries are quite good.

Saya sangat khawatir karena banyak ulasan buruk. Tempat ini lebih bersih dan nyaman dari yang diharapkan. Karena sifat asrama, penting untuk memiliki orang-orang yang berbagi kamar yang sama. Agak sulit di hari terakhir karena ada orang yang kakinya bau. Kamar mandi memiliki 4 dan 2 toilet, dan kamar mandi sulit digunakan karena banyak orang di pagi hari. Tidak ada wastafel terpisah, tetapi berada di sebelah toilet. Hamburger dan birnya enak.

I stayed for one night while attending the community shield at wembley. A short distance from waterloo station tube straight to wembley, with a wide variety of nearby restaurants. Although i didnt dine at the hostel, i can tell that the burgers are delicious. The 12person dorm room bed is clean and comfortable, with windows that can be opened, which is always convenient, the washroom is clean and functional, and there are no issues with the showers. Victoria station is a short stroll away, and the price i paid for one night was ideal.

Pubnya bagus banget, sarapannya lumayan enak, full bahasa Inggris, sangat recommended. Menu malam berhasil, tetapi berhasil. Kamarnya bersih, tapi 3 lantai tempat tidur susun dan kamar mandi campuran bersama, hanya memiliki 3 pancuran dan 2 kamar mandi. Tapi secara keseluruhan bagus dan dekat dengan pusat kota!

I had a great time and rented two beds in the shared room. Besides some snoring from other guests, there were no complaints the beds are simple but fine. The shared bathroom was clean and the water in the shower was warm. It was a great place to stay if you just need a bed in London. The location was great, you can go by tube to all the common places in London pretty quickly. The staff and the downstairs pub were the best in the whole place and really warm. Be careful to bring the right keycard when you want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, otherwise you will find yourself naked downstairs in the pub asking for it to open your door.

I will give this hostel the benefit of the doubt because i slept well, the price was reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. Also very good shower! But it wasnt the best accommodation ive seen. The room was very warm. There was a fan, but it would be too noisy to leave it on at night. It was also the first time i saw a hotel bedroom with a hand drying machine in the bathroom instead of towels. Not so hygienic, i used a bath towel instead. The sheets were too small for the double bed, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There was a small basket in the room. We assumed it was a bin. And the bin in the bathroom was still full of other peoples trash. I must say that there was not so much noise from the other rooms or the street at night. The location is great.

My wife and i stayed at this hostel for 3 nights and it was great! Very good price, staff were great, food and beer were great and affordable, rooms and bathrooms were clean. Its a hostel so if you arent ready for snoring, small spaces and possibly busy and wet floor bathrooms, just dont do the hostel thing. Steam Engine was in a great location where we could get anywhere quickly by bus or tube but enjoy a quiet night for drinks. Also get the breakfast deal, so worth the extra 50 dollars. Thank you to Emily, Victor, hannah (I believe her name is blonde with glasses manager) and everyone else who made our trip and experience in london amazing!.
